Dreams

For many women, raising children is the "stuff of their dreams." Let's not forget that.

While I'm all for supporting working moms (especially politicians), being able to stay home with my kids is "having it all" to me.

This is just another example of how difficult and unfair it is to label women as successful or not, especially women who also happen to be mothers.

PALIN V BIDEN

Without doubt, Palin as VP will help McCain more than Biden will help Obama. Biden a career politician, and washington insider, has fed at the public trough more than half of his 65 years of life, and can point to no significant accomlishments that has affected america. He's a good reason for term limits if one was inclined to support that position. Obama says he a candidate for change, but picks a tired old man, a washington insider for 35 years, as his number two man. One would think that in these times when people are losing their homes, jobs, and self-esteem Biden, with all of his suppossed experience, would have been the first to develop unique solutions to these problems. Have you heard of any?

Palin is a young progressive leader. Only a few years into her first term as Governor of Alaska, her poll numbers are 80%. Why? Perhaps its her ability to lead. People are weary of the old and tired politicians who vote strictly along party lines such as Biden. After awhile they lose their ability to think outside the box(if they ever did) or think at all. Whatever the party wants is the way Biden votes.

Support women

Is it OK with you Felchner if women win gold medals and excel in politics without the support of spouses or family?

Conservatives unite behind a McCain/Palin ticket!

Guys - let me strongly suggest looking into and getting behind a McCain/Palin 08 ticket.

It's the best ticket!

She's scheduled to be at the RNC. The lineup is funny, but it could change.

Sarah Palin Remains a Top Contender for Veep

Not only does new-mom (now mother of 5) Alaska Gov Sarah Palin remain a front-runner for McCain's VP, that fact that her most recent child was knowingly born with downs syndrome makes Palin a favorite of the pro-life group of voters, important for McCain's base.

But I can understand how the main stream media would like to think this disqualifies Palin. They and the Democrats are petrified that the very popular Palin will be McCain's running mate. Fortunately, Senator McCain recognizes Palin's centrality on the oil and energy issue, as well as her importance in garnering former Hillary voters for the GOP.
