Obama, Clinton Threaten to Sink Dems

Senator Clinton should stay in the race: It is good politics
In the long view [all Americans] especially women candidates for political office from both major parties will respect and admire that the first viable woman candidate for the presidency (Senator Hillary Clinton) was tenacious and did all she could to break the historical glass ceiling on the American presidency being a “male only” club.
Moreover, I think it is a good thing that voters in these later primaries are able to have an opportunity to help determine who the Democratic presidential nominee is; rather than just endorse the candidate that the early primary states have chosen as “their” nominee for all of us
Clinton is right to fight on for the nomination. Why should she demure in a close race to Obama and make his road more comfortable and easy? I think if Clinton were a man with this same relentless spirit that she would be celebrated and admired for being "Bull-dog tough", like Winston Churchill in the face of the Nazi’s in WWII. Instead she is said to be trying to “steal” the election and harshly criticized for being a dogged determined competitor of the first order.
If Obama is the nominee, he will be battle tested and battle hardened for a tough fight in the general election because of his sparring with Clinton. McCain and the GOP will be tough on Obama and because of the lessons learned during this primary season, he should be better prepared to succeed against GOP assaults. Moreover, Obama must do better with winning white working class, so called Reagan Democrats, if he is to be viable in states like Ohio and Pennsylvania against McCain in the fall. He can thank Clinton for showing his weakness with this Democratic constituency and work to win these voters over by the November election.
Hang in there Hillary! Time will show that you were right on with doing so.
Hillary clinton and bill are disgusting
They praised a hate group, which the republicans are aware of.. including rush limbaugh. If she wins the nomination, I hope she is roasted in public.
Hating Hillary has never been better...
The Clintons are damaging the party
The Clintons need to give up their fruitless campaign for the Presidency. None of their hardball tactics is strengthening the nominee. Because none of these attacks is at all issue-oriented. This election is not "all about them," nor should it be all about the aspirations of aging feminists to break the glass ceiling. This election is about the future of our country. We have masssive debt, an aging population further straining the system, an endless, needless war in Iraq, and a damaged image abroad. But back at home, we are allowing the Clinton brand , with the help of our sensationalistic-minded press, to brand and define the man who will be our Democratic nominee (wake up and grow up and do the math!).
Mrs. Clinton
You might want to consider that if Hillary is nominated, the Republican right will attack her on the adulterous antics of Bill in the 1990s, implying either she was too dumb to know what was going on in her own White House or that she knew plenty and dishonestly feigned her surprise, seeking to embarrass her first to rage, then to tears, then to loss. It will be all about DUMB or DISHONEST, or both, and probably wildly successful--with McCain "asking" the 527s not to run such ads while they run them anyway and the media corporations chiming in to give it all extra attention for free.
All this racism stuff to knock out Obama first is a strategy to get rid of a potential winner and tempt silly-goose female liberals to Hillary, the FAR MORE EASILY DEFEATED candidate. Limbaugh has started this in motion and you may be sure that every major corporation in America, including ALL MEDIA corporations are planning to complete it.
The fix is in and a bunch of misguided women are lining up to be complicit in the sound defeat of their own hopes and ideas---with the whole country of CITIZENS set to lose their say about the Supreme Court, the agencies, the deficit, health care, education and more. CORPORATIONS are planning to get their way on all of it. There were swiftboaters, then there is racism, and then is planned the mercilous belittling of Hillary. The word hardball barely describes it.
If you want it prevented, DEMAND the teamup of Obama and Clinton.
Obama is damaging the party
First of all, we don't *have* a nominee yet - there's nobody to strengthen.
This election is, indeed, about the future of our country. Obama has given me no indication that he can do anything about any of this country's problems unless you count being able to read a teleprompter really well as a "core skill." Each and every time he's said something unscripted, he's stuck at least one foot in his mouth, even to the point of offending portions of the electorate. That's not a good leadership quality. I am not inspired to follow a person who insults me, or who takes my vote for granted (i.e., Obama's cavalier statement with respect to Senator Clinton's supporters automatically supporting him if he is the nominee).
The Presidency is not some TV show or play where the main character gets to read and memorize his lines. The Presidency requires the ability to think quickly and on one's feet; Obama can't even give a straight, honest answer in a debate with a candidate of his own party! How is he going to respond to a breaking national crisis: "Give me a few days, I have to write a speech?"
Obama wants to represent "change" from the current president and his policies. Guess what - neither Democrat is likely to emulate George Bush and his toxic policies! Just about anybody would represent "change" from this administration, even McCain. What I don't hear from Obama is what, exactly, he plans to do to bring about this change. He decries "politics as usual," but where is the plan to convince the Republicans to support his policies? Are they supposed to forget their objections and obstructions and go along with him just because he said so? When has this neophyte ever reached across the aisle to work with Republicans on anything? Senator Clinton has - and that willingness to engage people of the opposite party will go a lot farther toward changing the atmosphere in Washington than all the pretty speeches in the world!
Wishing doesn't make things so.
It's the Clintons fault
The claim that a fight will make Obama more ready for the general is plain ridiculous. This is not a boxing match. When they take her clips and play it in the Fall and say "listen what a democrat senator said about Obama", you will know the impact of her direct attacks (coming off her own mouth) have done to the democrats.
Die trying ...
Well, Clinonista bandwagon and sisterhood kept Hilary in this race; not to mention Bill's gaffe with 'race card'.
Hillary has personality disorder - her campaign is a total crash in the recent history of politics; with a bunch of intelligent lunatics. Hillary is loosing is more shivering to her than she is winning. She never had a winning strategy - she started her campaign with 'inevitability'. Hillary is entitled to presidency, she knows all the hoopla in the White House, she spent many nights in the Lincoln's bedroom dreaming about presidency.
Bill Clinton said it right - 'this kid' - Obama should have waited until Hillary's turn is over; I mean, he is still young!
I do not get the farcas about Hillary obsession - what is it , anyway?
People are smart!
Obama is so coddled by his supporters and the mainstream media which is one of the big reason for why we are in this situation. The pundits just want to give the nomination to Obama without vetting him because of their habitual anti-Clinton hate. Perhaps, Clinton was over confident or felt entitled before February, but she certainly no long acts that way. In contrast, she acts strong and fight for every vote. Obama, with his boatload of money, momentum and the media behind his back, just can't buy the people, the way he buys the media with his ad's money. Obama also shows his feeling of entitlement that he should win the nomination when neither she nor him has earned a legitimate win. This means that we are all in the unchartered territory and both has equal rights to make their case to the people and superdelegates.
The bottom line is that while the 90% of the blacks just want to have a Black candidate, the rest of the America votes for Clinton even when they think that she is running up a big hill. Obama did fine with caucus by element of surprise, but when he is truly under fire above board, like what we see since Feb, then he is just wilting away!
People know that Obama still has skeletons in his closet and so far, through the power of the people who is smart to keep this election going, we now have seen a few of his skeletons, and so far, none are pretty!
Squabbles clear the path for McCain.
How absurd. Seriously. If this were even remotely true, we could just forgo the election and let McCain take over.
Rev. Wright
Rev. Wright please continue to Preach the way God has blessed you, if America is going to Vote for Mr. Oboma they will, if the Media or superdelegates want Hillary to be the next President she will.
