The media has no bias; one day they're for you, the next day they tear you down; its wherever the wind blows. So I don't want to hear about the "left media".
McCain's military record
John McCain is running on his military record, but what did he really do?
1) He graduated in the bottom 1 percent of a class of over 700 - he is no military genius.
2) He crashed 5 planes due to his poor abilities - not counting the plane he was shot down in.
3) He was shot down and taken prisoner.
4) After being slapped around for 4 days he broke and spilled his guts: He told his captors everything he knew: ship positions and names, wing commander names, who his dad was, and who knows what else. This he admitted to in his own book. In exchange for his treason he got preferential medical and other treatment.
5) While he was a prisoner, he repeatedly (again by his own admission) collabrated with the enemy and did propaganda for them - Jane Fonda at least did not take a military oath to not cooperate with the enemy.
6) He claims he was tortured, but why torture him when he was doing everything they wanted. Most likely a McCain lie.
7) He was given the choice of early release and holds this up as evidence of his honor. In reality it is proof of his good relations with his captors - where did they give anyone a choice? Were they not supposed to be so cruel? Apparently not to McCain.
8) Being a member of a highly respected military family John got a number of valor awards for his bravery during captivity. Odd other prisoners who did not betray their country never got these medals.
So what is John Mcain's military record? One of treason. He is unfit to be commander in chief. If he tried that stuff in WW2 they would have hanged him.

War and Politics
I am amazed at the number of people who want to declare war to solve the worlds problems. Problem is they are never willing to sign up and do the fighting. Bush is a Neo Con and believed that after the US fighting machine crushed IRAQ'Y forces that the people would wave the American flag, drop to their knees and shout we have been waiting. Well wake up, they don't feel that way, they have different views then us.
So why do we want to continue to fund the Governments that hate us? We can defeat these people by not giving them our money. The Oil Companies should be lining up to help save our country and way of life right? But we just keep buying the OPEC Oil
I haven't heard about any Big oil companies saying Stop this is hurting us.

He wants to use Wind energy to reduce our oil usage by 38 % or more. Come on, we sent people to the moon, we have unmaned space ships on Mars, and traveling all over the Solar System. Are you telling me we can't do this or are you scared to try?

McCain a leader???
I don't understand how someone aspiring to the Presidency of the USA can use valuable campaign time and money bashing his opponent with so many childish negative ads. Is he just envious of Obama's popularity? Is he so desperate for engaging the reader of "The Enquirer" and other blue-collar voters? Has he realized (I doubt that he has) that his allegation that he can "win wars" is out of touch with our need to have a leader who is capable and ready to use diplomacy to AVOID wars? Or, maybe he is just trying to fill time with nonsense rather than tell us more about his economic proposals, his stand on social issues like abortion, upgrading education standards, gay rights etc. etc. Actually, we would like to see more about his voting record in the Senate!!!!!
Doing what he is now doing quickly proves that he is ready for the rocking chair...
