The Edwards Irrelevance

To those feeling dejected???

John Edwards promised to serve on behalf of poverty, truth the Soldiers and Veterans.

He did not promise to serve you. You Chose Him.

Remember??? I do.

So, if you once believed are you going to act like the "children's party" now and stomp your feet for years????

Sorry but those referenced above are waiting for you and although I understand grief becomes anger sometimes, this is not the time nor the PLACE.

Now I believe I understand the intent of your article.

You had decided you wanted Clinton to win the nomination and somehow you got wind of the fact that Edwards was about to endorse Obama. I guess most of those who saw him on The Today Show and Morning Joe were pretty sure of that, although we didn't know exactly when.

It's okay, Professor! I know how you feel. I really do. I wasn't for Obama to begin with either and it has been a difficult decision for me to make a choice. And Edwards really had nothing to do with my ultimate decision to back Obama. But I always hoped he would come out and endorse him.

And now he has! But still.....I do understand how you feel. I am hoping that Senator Obama, if he does indeed win the nomination as it appears he will, is going to be the President that will unite this country and bring peace to this world.

It isn't going to be easy for anyone. But I believe that Barack Obama is a once in a lifetime candidate and that he can truly bring about the change for which we are in such desperate need.

Thank you for writing this article at a time when I needed to read it and needed to be able to interact with others who also were frustrated over the fact that Senator Edwards had not endorsed yet.

I'll bet your students really do appreciate you!

It's awful....He said he would back the one that had his platform. He did. Now grow up as Obama has shown you and simply say "good job".

I was a big fan of John Edwards, until this endorsement. Barack Obama is a pushover who has no real plans and offers the American public nothing but feel-good sophistry about working together. John was a fighter, who actually stood for something. I couldn't be more disappointed.

Don't really like Hillary, either. Go McCain, I guess. We'll take the mulligan on this one and see if we can't field a candidate with some balls next time around.

John Edwards-Being Impartial

John Edwards or ANY superdelegate should not show their support until the voting in ALL states are complete. The VOTERs in each state should decide who the is the Dem nomannie. The influence of Ted kennedy, Oparah, Stevie Wonder etc etc of selecting who should be nominated is wrong. Also the MEDIA should not try and push John Edwards or ANYONE to go public on who they will vote for.
