The S&P 500 has dropped 8.96% in 4 days since Obama delivered this speech. That is an annualized change of -99.66% per annum.

Mary...Time to GET OFF the Kool-Aid and look at REALITY...Whenever NOBAMA has a problem, he gives a speech and lately his speeches aren't well liked by the market...The campaging is OVER..It is time to STOP campaigning and START doing...! Of course, he has no experience in doing ANYTHING but giving speeches, so I guess that is what he falls back on...OBAMA...One Big A**ed Mistake For America...!!

I am definetely not a republican, but I also don't think Obama should be focusing on the long term now. The crisis needs to be fixed with SHORT TERM measures, and the ones he is putting in place now are certainly NOT short term and NOT helping the markets.

Yep I would say Obama has caused the decline in the stock market to rise. Under Bush my 401k turned to 201k, Obama is on his way to leave me with a 1k.
