Hillary’s Path to Success

October 06, 2008 12:28 PM ET | Permanent Link | Print

I very much enjoyed reading “An Uncertain Legacy” [September 1-8] about Hillary Clinton. Despite the fact that Hillary Clinton lost the primary election, in defeat she brought honor to the Democratic Party and to American politics. Her intellectual powers, her wisdom, uncompromising ideals, and perseverance endeared her to millions of men and women across the country. She is a politician with ability to articulate policies and programs in clear expressive language. Senator Clinton understands duty, responsibility, and serves her country and its people with her heart fully engaged. To answer the question “Will women emerge more quickly into American politics because Hillary put a stake in the ground?” The answer is emphatically yes.
