Working Class Struggle

May 07, 2008 04:20 PM ET | Permanent Link | Print

I didn't hear these same conservatives complaining when Uncle Sam spent billions to bail out or grant generous subsides to large corporate organizations; but just mention cutting a few dollars off of the mortgage payments that many Americans are struggling to pay and they start coming out of the woodwork to protest and lobby against it ["The Housing Bailout Backlash," usnews.com].

If we don't wake up soon, we're going to have a society composed of rich and poor with no middle class at all. Some drastic changes in Washington will have to be made in November if we of the working class want to hold on to whatever rights we have left.
