Great post

Nice story as for me. It would be great to read more about this matter.

Glenn you must Be

Glenn you must be either a stupid Ni**er or a F**kin redneck, either way your just as much a waste of space as Michael Vick, hopefully somebody will shoot ur A**, and wouldn't it be sweet justice if it was an officer of the law.

all should be given a second chance

If michael vick deserves redemption, and be given 6million dollars to play in a priviledged league, then so should all the pediphiles who found god and ask forgiveness. They should also be allowed to work with children, as long as they are monitored. I'm not a hypocrite, if what is good for one dispicable person, then it is good for all others.

vick in NFL

Stupid move by the NFL to take back such a loser, but they haven't been showing very high standards in the last few years, so no big surprise. Vick deserves to be in prison, not in the NFL, so the best I can hope for at this point is that during the course of a game he gets his neck snapped. That would be poetic justice at its finest :)

Vick Shouldn't Be in NFL

Besides the obvious crimes, Vick has made a career out of lying to and embarassing the league he played for. And does anyone really buy that he'd do this humane society gigs if he didn't need the good pr to try and earn a few more million.

If Vick was a plumber, yeah, he could go back to his job, though probably with new customers who wouldn't be aware of his actions. Vick used his celebrity when he could benefit from it, probably to unfair advantage, so paying a little more for his crimes is just the other side of the blade's edge. Like being a QB in the NFL--you take most of the glory, so you get most of the blame.

One last thing, Mr. Farrell: in the spirit of second chances, should Bernie madoff receive early parole, how willing are you to let him be in charge of all your family's finances? Please, don't be a hypocrite just because Vick is sports.

ummmmmm no

he did it and lied about it he should have to pay for what he did because 2 year isnt enough. i do blame the nfl also but the nfl didnt fight and kill dogs he did.

vick

vick should not ever be allowed to play football for anyone anywhere ever again. that piece of s**t should still be in jail. the things he did to those dogs makes me sick to my stomach. i am a pitbull owner, and its because of horrible irresponsible people like him that responsible owners and lovers of the breed have such a difficult time owning them. it also gives the breed a bad name, and thats not fair, they were just doing what the horrible owner told them to do. i feel that what vick did to those dogs is what HE deserves to happen to him. he should be beat hung shot and eletricuted, and that still isnt enough. what kind of role model for kids is he? a bad one thats what. he just needs to take his happy a** somewhere else. if anyone thinks that vick should play again then they are just as horrible person as he is. anyone who can do that to an innocent animal deserves to rot in a jail cell for the rest of their pitful life. he got off easy and thats not right. 18 months in nowhere near enough. he MURDERED another living thing? whats that say about our law enforcement and judicial system? not much if u ask me. i hope when u read this u realize how wrong he is. now if u r on his side or i offended u with what i said.....good. i love pitbulls and that is the only dog ill own. maybe they shouldnt blame the dog and make laws against them, mayb the should keep people like vick in jail and blame people like him. blame the deed not the breed!

Mike Vick

I completely disagree with Michael Vick being allowed to play professional football again. I believe that he should be punished the same way all of those poor helpless animals were punished. If he was so willing to put those dogs into the ring to fight each other even after training them to be vicous toward each other and other people, then maybe he should take up proffessional wrestling and learn a little something about what those dogs went through. He has now joined up with PETA in hopes of making himself look good and that is all. He does not nor did he ever care about any of those animals. The only thing that man cares about is making himself look good. The rest of America can buy his bullcrap pie but I do not. It's no different than when someone goes to jail and finds God but when they get out they lose him. Mike Vick just wants to play football again and make that money. It's not right. I completely disagree with him being able to play professional football. All the NFL is doing by allowing him to play is showing America that you can do whatever you damn well please and it wont cost anything but some cash and maybe a year of your life. I know too many good people with felonies on their records that can't even get a job flipping a burger. Someone tell me how this man is any better than the people I know, because I think he is just an ass kisser looking for a job.

What should he do?

What would you do if you were Michael Vick. Should we fault him for trying to do what he does best. If you dont agree with that, you should have a problem with the NFL or the justice system, not Michael Vick. His sentence was a two-year jail term. It should not also include having to say the perfect thing in every interview, pretending that he is an animal lover, and being forced to stand in front of children and lie about how bad he thinks it is to mistreat animals. No one in any other profession would be forced to do anything but the two years, so i say leave the man alone.

Giving Vick another chance could end in the Pete Rose of the NFL

The reality is Dog Fighting is gaming and if you allow Vick to enter the NFL you will only open the door for worse to happen. Pete Rose did it to Baseball and Vick could do it to the NFL.

Think about the fact that not only did this heartless person fight dogs for entertainment and gaming....He also treated the living animals inhumanly. The amount of time he served does not change a person that is actually watches a living creature die painfully and horribly.

Funny how people seem to forget the details of what he did and for nothing more than sports entertainment. This world is becoming more desensitized and it makes for a scary future for our children.

Think about the fact that Charles Manson and his crew did what they did and the world still fears him today. What they did is really nothing compared to the horrible murders that have happened since then and yet we have no worries or fear of letting Vick play football bacause he would be entertaining.

We really need to take a look at who we will put in front of our kids as role models.
