Why the change of heart?

I don't understand why after 8 years of right wing domestic spying, secret prisons, cia torture, etc all these nut bags are flipping out? What has changed? Obama and co and closing some of the prisons and stopping some of the torture, but otherwise things are basically the same. What is with all these wacky secessionists? No, on the contrary, federal politicians and judges commit treason EVERY DAY through their illegal acts that have no basis in the constitution. Two separate countries, each better off

The most rational course of action would be to form two separate countries out of the United States. We don't need to follow the tragic example of the civil war, we can follow the example set by Czechoslovakia that peacefully split into the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. Clearly, the US is no longer governable as a single unit. In order for a population to be successfully governed as a political unit, it requires a population in substantial agreement over fundamental values. We do not have that and we will not have it in the United States. However, we as two separate nations, we could have a very friendly trading relationship with each other and the rest of the world. In all likelihood, this would be beneficial for both sides. Life is very short, and spending it constant cultural strife and social pathology is unnecessary. Both sides can do better, we can separate. Married couples do it all the time, why can't we?

Let's not forget the real motivator. A federal gov't that killed women and children because they had GUNS!!!

I'm guessing we won't hear much about the gov't snipers that shot unarmed children in Idaho or how reckless federal agents burnt children alive on a raid of a private property.

Deal with facts

I am sorry, but people on the right do know history. When Germany tried to cover their debt by printing more and more money this helped cause hyperinflation which helped the rise of the Nazi party. And the Nazi party was a socialist party. Bush doubled the size of the government, which caused him to lose favor with conservatives. Obama has accelerated spending even more. So, why is the fear of what excessive spending will do to our country and future generations racist? I would love to have the chance to vote for Condoleezza Rice or J.C. Watts. Deal with facts, not emotions.

Do you remember Hillary Clinton yelling that descent when the government is wrong is patriotic? Timothy Mc Vie was a sick person. There has been no hint of violence in the Tea Party; as a matter of fact the closest I have seen to a loon in any of the protests were the left wing biased Susan Roesgen, so called reporter from CNN and Janeane Garofalo’s remarks afterwards.
