Basically, your story smears the reputation of a man, because he dared to ask questions about your god---Obama. You shake your finger at Martin for spreading stories about Obama, then you spread horrible stories about him! Why not practice what you preach?

I remember when the press investigated rumors. Now they are in the business of covering them up. I remember when the press was the fourth branch of government, and held all politicians accountable. Now you are propagandists for the Democrats, and especially Obama. We see in the Sarah Palin stories that you still know how to dig around in people's backgrounds. But, you refuse to find out Obamas. Refuse to demand proof of his assertions.

You know, you all called the charges of sex with an intern in the clinton White House, a "vsst right wing conspiracy" ....just a story by hate filled Republican hacks. Well, it was true, wasn't it? You would be wise not to dismiss the stories about Obama, or you may find yourselves with egg all over your faces. Again.

Okay, lets imagine John McCain doing the same things Obama has done, and having some of the same associations.

...what if:

He attended the “Westboro Baptist Church” for 20 years; But he never heard any hate filled speeches. He did hear some pretty outlandish stuff, but never the most horrible things.

When questioned on his association with WBC and Pastor Phelps, he stated that Pastor Phelps was his good friend, mentor who married him, and baptized his children...and that he could no more disown Pastor Phelps, than his Dark Skinned Daughter, who loves him, but even so, has used White/elderly epithets that made his skin crawl.

Then, we find out that McCain has been in an organization with, served on two boards with, was neighbors with Eric Rudolf. Then said, “well, I didn't know him when he set off those bombs; he was just a guy I know, and other people trusted him, so did I....”

Then, we find out that McCain was a member of the John Birch society when he first ran for office.

He had on his staff former Enron executives.

Children sing and March to songs about the great McCain!

David Duke calls him a ‘prophet of God’ and tells everyone to listen to him and follow him.

He is endorsed by Pat Buchanan, Slobadan Milosevic; Kim Jong IL; and Charles Taylor.

He attended a conference by Adriaan Vlok, who also tells anyone who will listen what a wonderful leader McCain is, and how he will fix the world.

Then, remember, McCain's father and grandfather were members in good standing of the KKK. His sister, and his brothers are still members...but despite some old documents to the contrary, McCain says he never was a member. We must believe him, take him at his word.

McCain did unfortunately make one small remark about people from New Orleans being “typical black folks, clinging to their welfare checks and unable to read them!” It was an “unfortunate choice of words”...

rumors

What about this one........................what if..........Joe the Plumber didn't just HAPPEN to be in line waiting to ask Sen. Obama about his tax plan! What if someone arranged for Joe the Plumber to be in that line with a special question for Sen Obama. I guess I was wondering why Joe was so concerned about the Obama tax plan hurting him???? Joe isn't really a PLUMBER........and Joe doesn't really earn......what was it........oh yeah.....$250,000 a year (WOW, HOW LUCKY THAT IT JUST HAPPENED TO BE THE SAME AMOUNT SEN. OBAMA WAS USING AS A TAX CUT OFF) Wow, now that's what I call a possible rumor!

Gal durnit.........ya' don't spose that's how they knew they wuz gunna be needin' a bunch of them t-shirts they wuz handin' out at the rally.......do ya?????

Dear God, NO! JOE, JOE...... OH, TELL ME IT AIN'T SO!

Ferrell doesn't know his subject

Despite strenuous denials, the unavoidable truth of the matter is that our government has a long standing history of abandoning US servicemen who fall into enemy hands. Statements to the effect that,"all leads are thoroughly investigated" or, that the issue of POW/MIA's is of the "highest National priority" are demonstrably false and do not stand up given the weight of evidence to the contrary.

Outrage voiced by those who have participated in the charade not withstanding, evidence that US servicemen remained in captivity after Operation Home Coming (as well as WWII and the war in Korea)is both compelling and overwhelming.

Are we to accept that Treasury agent Syphrit was NOT called before the Committee on POW/MIA's because he had nothing to say?

Are we to believe that Philip Corso's testimony before that Committee was a fabrication?

One only has to consider the outrageous explanations put forth to explain inconvenient satellite imagery containing POW identity codes or, even more unbelievable, the revellation that all such codes (except for Air Force personnel) have been lost or, destroyed.

Rather than swallow such tripe, hook, line and sinker, Mr. Ferrell should spend some time doing RESEARCH.

Generation vs. Generation

Formula for generating anti McCain rumors -take 1 laptop+ 1 college student + all the redbull he or she can drink + tell them the older candidate wants to wage perpetual war and they will take that football and run with it.Axlerod does'nt tell them that Sen. Obama has plans for nation building in Darfur though,& you don't need a rocket scientist to deduce the likely source of manpower for such an undertaking.

the myth of Vietnam POW-MIAs "left behind,"

Recently discovered files from the 1993 Senate Select Committee on POW/MIA Affairs raise disturbing new questions about the fate of specific missing American Servicemen. In its final report, the Committee concluded: “There is evidence; moreover, that indicates the possibility of survival, at least for a small number (of American Prisoners of War (POWS)), after Operation Homecoming.” Internal documents uncovered by the National Alliance of Families show Senate investigators found the Vietnamese and their allies captured more Americans than acknowledged or realized during the conflict and that the fate of many of these men and other POWs was “still unclear” two decades later. In the years since the Committee completed its investigation, the true fate of many of these man remains unknown.

An August 1992 memo entitled, “The Universe of Possible POWs: 1973 versus 1992,” stated: “Today, Defense Department files contain evidence that at least 59 Americans were -- or may have been -- taken prisoner and their precise fate is still unclear. This includes the 20-30 not officially acknowledged by Vietnam (as having been captured during the war) in 1973. This represents the minimum number of possible live POWs today.”

Some Senate investigators, including the memo’s author, apparently believed some of these men had died, shortly after capture. But other investigators and declassified documents suggest at least some of the 59 were held secretly by the Vietnamese; evidence that they have died since is in many cases non-existent or based on the uncorroborated testimony of the Vietnamese.

In one case, a Vietnamese defector reported a POW alive in captivity in February 1973. The source provided the POWs name, John and a detailed description down to a 1 ½” scar behind the POWs left ear. The report was correlated to Army Capt. John T. McDonnell. The odds that the source could fabricate a description so closely matching Capt. McDonnell, who records show had a 1 ½” scar behind his left ear, strains the imagination. There is no doubt John McDonnell was captured. The Vietnamese acknowledge his capture, on March 6, 1969, claiming he died the following day. We believe the evidence indicates John McDonnell was alive in February 1973. He remains unaccounted for.

In 1992, Vietnamese officials released a picture of Air Force Major Joseph C. Morrison. In the photo Major Morrison appears to be dead. But they have not produced his remains or explained the fate of his co-pilot, San D. Francisco. Both men were reported alive on the ground by U.S. search-and-rescue personnel and Radio Hanoi reported their capture.

Also on the list of 59 are Sp4 Thomas Mangino and PFC’s Paul Hasenbeck, and David Winters; a Vietnamese Colonel claimed he participated in their ambush and the three along with PFC Daniel Nidds were killed. U. S. investigators subsequently learned the Colonel wasn’t in the area when the ambush occurred. Serious questions remain regarding the fate of these men.

For many of the men named in these documents, there fate is as unclear today as it was in 1973.

It kinda proves the saying...

...that half of Americans are below average.

For those who fervently believe that unfettered Democracy is the best political system in the world, they need only look at the 'average' voter who is most often misinformed, politically naive and votes based on a 'gut check' that Alka Seltzer couldn't touch.

If any voter is swayed, duped or otherwise changes his or her mind based on a viral e-mail or these outlandish statements, "[they} we deserve the dysfunctional government [they] we've got."

And based on the dysfunctional government we've got, that's exactly what happened.
