Interesting Information
I found lots of interesting information on www.usnews.com. The post was professionally written and I feel like the author has extensive knowledge in the subject. www.usnews.com keep it that way.
Post-Abortion Syndrome
These people who claim to be concerned about the health of the mother are frauds, or they have not worked with women who have had abortions and are now suffering mentally, emotionally, and/or physically. There are people in Crisis pregnancy centers who work with these women after they have had abortions due to false information given to them by Planned Parenthood or some other pro-choice organization. Some of these women believe that they had no choice at the time except to have an abortion. Later they often regret that decision. Some can never become pregnant again. Some do get pregnant again, and that is when they realize what they have done and regret it. If you are one of these women, there are loving people who will help you through this crisis, and they are not the pro-choice "counsellors." However, there are Christian counsellors who will help you to find forgiveness and healing.
Abortion Comments
...and the beat goes on... both sides shouting at each other.
About 30 years ago a prominent Pro-Lifer wrote:
"...biological progress is on the horizon that will make the entire abortion issue as it stands today obsolete..." But most Pro-Lifers never heard about that, and those that did, didn't seem to care when Caspar Weinberger's "exception" was deleted for no apparent reason.
Preventing unwanted pregnancies is the one subject both sides publically support. But both are hung up on methods and side-effects. Neither side seems interested in ways to make a large group -- MEN -- more responsible for their actions by enlisting the help of another large group. Both sides are more interested in a political "...thrill of victory..."
abortion...
It will be a cold day in you know where when the people of these United States and around the world get it through their thick heads that it is wrong, dead wrong for couples, teen or otherwise to get pregnant without any forethought or planning and then abort the baby.
Like it or not, people refuse to be RESPONSIBLE enough to prevent "unwanted pregnancies." EXCUSE ME! If you are married, you'd best keep that little baby who the both of you pro-created. Children are a gift from God and must be reared with love and respect as your own flesh and blood. Family planing is the REAL ISSUE here...not pro and con abortion. Any other way is total disrespect for yourself and for your spouse and most of all for your own conscience...that inner voice that convicts us all of our wrongs and gives us joy when we help someone in need. When will we ever learn? Anyone listening? God help us.

I too am Catholic that doesn't mean I'm myopic. The Republicans have been touting themselves as the pro-life party. However, that's a ruse. The GOP started and allowed the war in Iraq to go forward killing thousands of our own men and women not to mention the uncounted thousands of INNOCENT Iraqui men, women and children (no WMDs were found, the premise for the war). The GOP and their supporters also deny the destruction of enviroment which is killing and will kill millions of humans and other living creatures. They also support the NRA and guns are used for killing men and animals alike. So why is it that people believe the GOP's supposed PRO-LIFE stance. It seems that PRO-LIFE only applies to the unborn and the recently born and to hell with the rest of us, animal life and the planet. GOP=Death. With that said, if you prevent pregancy in the first place then abortion would never have to be an option.
Abortion and the Republican propaganda
The Republicans constantly complain about abortion, gay marriage, and a few oter things that have nothing to do with running the Federal Government. It all propagana to aquire the Radical Religious Rights vote, and to make the Democrats appear to be anti-Christ. I am not pro-abortion, just pro-choice. I don't believe in forcing my opinion off on someones doctor or family, about personal choices ....even religion !!

FARRELL AND OBAMA'S "COMMON GROUND"
Farrell and Obama claim to be open to "common ground" on abortion... Farrell, maybe... Obama No way.
NARAL and Planned Parenthood, both Nazi-like, feminist, pro-abortion groups and Obama supporters, have vehemently attacked California's Prop 4, Parental Notification Law. They call the law extreme, intolerant, an attack on women's rights and a means to simply subvert Roe vs. Wade.
In California a teen can't go to the dentist, get a tattoo, a body piercing or take an aspirin without their parents consent - But abortion - no problem. To suggest that a parent might have an interest in their 14 year olds mental and physical health is deemed "intolerant" and a "step backward" by the far left "feminists".
To call the idea of parents being involved in their daughter's health and life changing decisions "radical" when a fourteen year can't buy a car, a beer or a cigarette, is obviously absurd.
So Mr.Farrell and Mr. Obama where, exactly, is this mysterious land of "common ground"?
Abortion
There are many principled people in the anti-abortion movement. I fully support their efforts to reduce the number of abortions, as long as they use only common sense, kindness and their own money. As soon as they begin to invoke the power of the state to force women to bear children, they lose me.
Those same well-meaning and sincere folks might want to take a hard look at the extreme wing of their cohort: the people who appear more interested in controlling and punishing women than in saving children.
