2nd Note to Johnny

The future of your grandchildren's economic welfare is at stake and you're worried about the polar bears. You have the same disease Congress has, you won't or can't major on the majors; you insist on minoring on the minors. When did this disease become epidemic? Let's all save the polar bears some other day, please.

NOTE TO JOHNNY - POLAR BEARS ARE FINE

Just a quick note to all you enviros - Al Gore's ranting propaganda notwithstanding, Polar Bears are doin' great. Numbers are nearly 60% higher than 30 years ago. And, as far as "Global Warming worrying the critters, forget it. They've been thru it all before. The polar bears have survived two previous global warming events during which the entire polar ice cap melted. Guess what? They survived just fine thanks - Without the help of the EPA.

Lest we forget, there have been at least 11 periods of glaciation in the past - All of which were followed by periods of global warming. As a matter of fact sea levels were more than 550 lower during the last ice age! Nobel Peace Prize laureate and international eco-superhero ALGORE - must have played hooky in Jr. High School science when they covered that little tidbit.

So Johnny and Al, here's the take home message. Since sea levels have already risen more than 550 feet since the last period of glaciation - I wouldn't really sweat another couple feet... It's only risen about 1 inch in the past 200 years. And the bears, well they've been there and done that before.

So take a break Al baby, you must be tired after inventing the internet and saving the world.
