Palin is a egotistical and typical republican

I don't understand why no one has said anything Yet!!!! I think Sarah Palin is an inconsiderate, selfish, self observed and self-centered, egotistical, individual. She only cares about her accomplishment and will do whatever it takes to WIN!!!! Even if it means turning her family into a circus. Family is not first in her world. I feel sorry for her 17year old daughter. As if it’s not embarrassing enough to be pregnant among her peers. She has her parading in front of the world. Being 17 and pregnant is nothing to be proud of. My heart goes out to her. I fill up just seeing the head lines.

I was once in her shoes, pregnant at the age of 17. Yes it was my High School Sweetheart. I was Homecoming Queen and a Drill Team, very popular. When I found out I was pregnant, I was ashamed, mortified. I cried, wishing it was not true, Hoping it was all a dream. However, I had to endure the feeling for 9 mos.

My parents had the same values as Palin. They did not believe in abortion and wanted me to marry my son’s father. I understand no abortion, but they wanted marriage because they were also embarrassed. Oh, ya, it’s the right think to do. I stood up to my Father and flat out told him I was not marrying anyone.

Seeing her daughter on stage is a clear understanding to me that It’s Palin’s way or no way. I just can’t believer she would put her family through the scrutiny of the public. Personally I would have refused the opportunity for my family privacy.

There is no team in I

Coming from a guy that lets everyone know his middle name is Aloysius.

Oh! One more thing....

The comments in this section from many McCain "supporters" (or is it just one?) is WEAK SAUCE. Don't be fooled readers.

"I just accidently a John McCain... the WHOLE THING!"

Hello... Don't lose the game.

GOP

John Stewart had the best line to Huckabee..."So your saying that you are the best party to clean up the mess that was created by......your party?"

Cindy McCain....

.... is PARIS HILTON Senior!

That's all I could think while watching her speak the other night.

McCain - me , always me

McCain likes to illustrate his moral fibre by referring to his five years as a prisoner-of-war in Vietnam and to demonstrate his commitment to family values.

The true is somewhat different. The first Mrs McCain casts a ghostly shadow over the Senator’s presidential campaign. She is seldom seen and rarely written about, despite being mother to McCain’s three eldest children. She is Carol, who was a famous beauty and a successful swimwear model when they married in 1965.

She was the woman McCain dreamed of during his long incarceration and torture in Vietnam’s infamous ‘Hanoi Hilton’ prison and the woman who faithfully stayed at home looking after the children and waiting anxiously for news.

But when McCain returned to America in 1973 to a fanfare of publicity, he discovered his wife had been disfigured in a terrible car crash three years earlier. Her pelvis and one arm were shattered by the impact and she suffered massive internal injuries.

When Carol was discharged from hospital after six months of life-saving surgery, the prognosis was bleak. In order to save her legs, surgeons had been forced to cut away huge sections of shattered bone, taking with it her tall, willowy figure. She was confined to a wheelchair and was forced to use a catheter. When John McCain came home from Vietnam, she had gained a lot of weight and bore little resemblance to her old self.

Today, her body is held together by screws and metal plates and, at 70, her face is worn by wrinkles that speak of decades of silent suffering.

For nearly 30 years, Carol has maintained a dignified silence about the accident, McCain and their divorce. But last week at the bungalow where she now lives, she told The Mail on Sunday how McCain divorced her in 1980 and married Cindy, 18 years his junior and the heir to an Arizona brewing fortune, just one month later.

She says. ‘My accident is well recorded. I had 23 operations, I am five inches shorter than I used to be and I was in hospital for six months. It was just awful, but it wasn’t the reason for my divorce. ‘My marriage ended because John McCain didn’t want to be 40, he wanted to be 25. You know that happens...it just does.’

Some of McCain’s acquaintances are less forgiving, however. They portray the politician as a self-centred womaniser who effectively abandoned his crippled wife to ‘play the field’. They accuse him of finally settling on Cindy, a former rodeo beauty queen, for financial reasons.

McCain was then earning little more than $40,000 a year as a naval officer, while his new father-in-law, Jim Hensley, was a multi-millionaire who had impeccable political connections.

Now lets see what his vet buddies confirm about McCain the hero.

And Sarah Palin how is she going to defend the country if she can't defend her children against pedophiles?

"You want the truth? YOU CAN'T HANDLE TEH TRUTH!!*#"

Orrrrr not.

Look, it's apparent that the Republican party's desire is for the American people to hand them the keys, and to shut up and let them drive. This is how the Republicans have been since Eisenhower died. "You gave me the keys, now shut up and let me drive." Even if they're taking the American people somewhere we don't want to go. It has never been about We the People. It's always been about how the fearless and selfless leader will save the country with his vision. It's always been "mind your business and let us mind the country."

Obama's message has consistently been about the people serving how they can. People giving of themselves. People doing for each other and their country. The media narrative with their 'liberal bias, a la Fox's fair balance', tries to show Obama as some elitist self centered snob, but if you listen to his words instead of just what people write about him, you will get a much clearer picture, straight from the source.

Conservative Genius

Please, somebody explain how being a former POW has jack squat to do with being the President. Great story, don't care. Seriously. I don't. There are so many other folks who have gone through similar tragedy or hardship (a lot of them are going through it right now in Guantanamo, maybe they should run), it's just not enough for me.

Explain how McCain will bring one iota of change or whatever word you'd like to use to Washington, considering his voting record is 95% in line with Bush and the Republican party. I guess this one will just have to be "I swear baby, I'll change. I'll never ____________ again (cheat on your wife?) And please, please don't bother bringing Palin into this. The only change she'll bring is creationism and banned books. And a whole new batch of Abuse of Power (that one is getting really old).

Please explain why John McCain absolutely contradicts himself, positioning himself 100% against legislation he wrote or voted for? I know he really, really, really, really, really, wants to be President, but is he that weak-minded? Is he that lacking in character, that he won't even support legislation he himself helped pass since the last time he ran?

Hate on Obama all you want, but I doubt any of you geniuses can answer any of these.

Me, myself and OOF!

I can't wait for AP to credit you when they write it up.
