GREAT WRITEUP

You should be working for MSNBC with all the other Left wing cheerleaders. The stuff you write that dumps all over anything not on the lefty loon agenda is ridiculous, as far as a real news reporter goes ,UGH.

NEVER trust a politician who waves a bible. NEVER!

Because every single one of them is either a liar or a moron.

Religion is just another word for "magic" -- and magic, 'my friends', is bullsh*t!

Those who believe in it are morons.

Those who dupe *others* into believing it are liars.

Here endith the lesson.

Amen. (So say we all.)

Excellent

Well written, thanks for speaking the minds of many!

Simple folks.

America needs ditch diggers.

I just wish you Republicans had enlisted to fight the Republican war in Iraq.

John McCain has no honor

As a young man he did not conduct himself with honor. He was an arrogant swaggering bully. He was known for treating women badly. He was known for drinking and aggression.

He would never have even been accepted into the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis without the inside influence of his father. McCain showed no honor in the way he conducted himself in school. He acted as though he was entitled and as though he could do anything he wanted to. He ignored his studies. In the end he graduated at the bottom of his class, 895 out of 900 people. It is said that he would not have graduated at all without the inside influence of his father.

There is no honor in the path that he took in the Navy. Without his father’s name, he never would have been allowed to fly at all. He was not qualified academically. In the flight and equipment training that he received, he did not act with honor. He ignored the study as he had in school. The first plane that he crashed was lost due to his error and lack of training. He himself was almost killed because he did not know how to eject. He himself said that he should have read the manual. He said that he knew there was a way to eject, he just didn’t know how. He went and got drunk two hours after they pulled him off the bottom of Biscayne Bay.

He crashed other planes. As a pilot he was incompetent.

On his first mission into combat he was shot down. He was taken prisoner. In prison he did the one honorable thing that he can be credited with. He refused to be released early, insisting that men who came before would go home first.

When he came home he again used family influence to gain better treatment than other soldiers got. His father got him into the War College. Then he was able to get a job as a Naval Liaison to the U.S. Senate. In that job he worked with powerful, military-connected Republican Senators. He now knew how to power.

He cheated on his wife, repeatedly. After many affairs, he met the Cindy whom we now know as his wife. He asked her to marry him even before asking his wife for a divorce. You see, she had hundreds of millions of dollars of family money and a Republican-connected father who offered to bankroll John McCain into political power. They made him a Senator.

There is no honor in the way that John McCain came to power, or in what he has chosen to do with power. An honorable man with power would help the people of our country. From the start, John McCain has positioned himself to help not the people, but the large corporations and the wealthy people who control them. I see that as the biggest failure of his honor.

Craig

Thanks for the laugh. I just hope you're not old enough to vote.

YES THE TRUTH DOES HURT

Man, fatesrider of CA ,did I write that statement under an assumed name and forgot that I did it because I was begining to think that no one understood this . reading your comment was so very reassuring and it goes a lot deeper than you stated but it would take long letter to get into it in depth.

I'm refering to these idiot racist republican talk show host who also think they are players but they are really just being played like a cheap guitar, used to keep these other morons who listen to them on a regular basis in check so that the real players can keep the STATUS QUO.

Dope fiend Limbough thinks that because the powers that be antied up $400 mil(which to them is chump change they would spend that much on a weekend golf outing)to renew his contract that this makes him a PLAYER ,you see these people know how to stroke a person especially when he is already full of himself.

Not only is he not important he is not even nessecary and niether are the rest of these idiots on republican talk radio

they can buy another person to do what they do in five minutes.

They all would be laughable if they were'nt so utterly pathetic.

The electorate is dumb

Farrel, the electorate is mostly dumb hicks. Politics is about manipulating dumb people. Only 18% of democrats are rational and maybe 5% of republicans. What you said characterizes most people.

The past 8 years normal people have been kicked in the stomach by George Bush and the Republicans, and at least 42% (by the polls) are dumb enough to still want more kicks. Haha, let the fools have what they want. Enough beating will eventually knock some sense into them.

I agree. This is not the Republican Party of Ronald Reagan or even the first George Bush. A common factor woven through most of their rhetoric is fear. Fear of the world beyond our borders, fear of diplomacy, fear of new ideas, fear of anyone the least bit different or with different opinions, fear of terrorism (only the Republicans can protect you), fear of people who care about other people, i.e., community activists / organizers, etc. There are people supporting either candidate for the wrong reason(s), but I"m afraid that this Republican ticket, as well as the last one, are aiming at and gaining the most from people who are ill or under informed.

Redneck?

Hmm, perhaps your editor and employer should take up the issue of using derogatory language, John. Why is it acceptable for you to refer negatively to people as Rednecks (and basically insulting people from the South), when it would be unacceptable to refer to Black people as, well, you know which N word I am referring to.

Apparently, there is a massive double standard within the media, and particularly John's leftist brain, about what is acceptable language and what is not.

But, hey, it's no wonder this magazines readership and circulation is declining, when a writer can use an epithet and sit back and insult people in such as manner.
