A coalition of religious groups that includes progressive faith activists and denominations and the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops is sending out 250,000 postcards urging comprehensive immigration reform as part of a campaign called Home for the Holidays. This is one of several designs.

"With Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, and Christmas fast approaching, faith leaders from key states and major national faith-based organizations are pushing Congress to pass reform legislation that keeps families together instead of keeping them apart," the group Faith in Public Life said in an announcement E-mail this week.

Illegal Alien families should reunite in the Home Countries..

Disgusting! An attempt by illegal alien criminals and their enablers to try to "tug at the heart strings" of American citizens.. Maybe their families wouldn't be seperated if they united.. in Mexico or their home countries!

How long has Truth paid taxes to create assets here?

I began my work career in l941. I paid taxes on many homes & many rental properties. My taxes helped build, staff & run all kinds of public agencies used illegally by people who disobey immigration laws. A friend worked in those huge distribution centers that move stuff from computer orders to customers. She said a raid on five of them where she worked would expose illegals. She said most of the women spoke Spanish only. For another job, my friend was not eligible because SHE doesn't speak Spanish. There is a vast underworld of illegal labor. Many old timers here are getting unemployment compensation because illegal took their jobs. Many churches unpatriotically welcome & shelter people who sneak in here. They want the tithes those crooks pay them--so those preachers help them find work. How many illegals are working in those Faith-Based projects Obama harmfully endorses? There is no fair play when laws are disobeyed without punishment. Cities should deputize citizens & pay a bounty to catch illegals, with no time lost to deport them. This is grand theft, committed by prayerful "sinners" who say Christ forgave them. Keeping families together means more chances for conceptions.

"Truth" in HI

There is NO SUCH WORD AS 'ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT" in Blacks Law Dictionary, or In Merriam Websters Dictionary. Get Educated .

You are correct. There "word" is not in the dictionary. In fact, this is not A word. It is TWO words - an adjective and a noun. The words "tall woman" are not in Websters either. Dictionaries, for obvious practical reasons, cannot possibly contain every adjective noun combination. That does not make these combinations cease to exist. You may believe that this term is invalid (and it may be), but it is not invalid for the reason you state.
