It seems that people want to expain away homosexuality as a fluke of nature or a mistake of God. Neither is right. Who cares where it comes from! The fact is that gay people exist and should have the same rights in our society as others! That is what I don't understand!

Nobody yet knows all the reasons for homosexuality. Obviously it has something to do with what happens in utero. As an atheist, I reject the claim that "God created everything and everybody." What seems to be cruelty as animals eat animals, what happens is that Nature limits populations to the area that can support it. Some of the worst attacks on gays are coming from church leaders I would bet are lifetime gays. Obama does great work in demanding national respect for the Constitutional rights of all of us.
