Gays Step Up Efforts to Reverse Gay-as-Godless Stereotype

Who is driving ?
This message is about the sexual freedom of 'creatures', not about mankind and Gods' Bible. If we confine our thinking to the reproductive acts between all male/female or unitary reproductive entity's then the Bible has no relevance. We then realize that the differant sexual attributes are strictly for reproduction of that species. And so it is and it seems to work well. There are reports and ample observations of homosexual activity among many of the animal entity's. There is no concern or interest if such is not among humans. That concern may emanate strictly from those who read and instruct from the Bible and dismiss sexual activities in the animal kingdom since the Bible and Religion were not aimed at animals. Human homosexual activity must operate from the same stimuli as for heterosexual activity; some mental and some from the massive pressure of hormones. Of humans, men seem to carry a massive oversupply of testosterone that provides a sex drive demanding relief far more often than their female counterpart. This imbalance pressure often presents excessive demand to married females leaving both parties frustrated. That fact is absent in the animal kingdom where promiscuity is the norm. Among humans it is a terrible source of frustration and problems. It is advantageous for humans, especially men, to engage in homosexual activity in order to manage excessive testosterone and avoid the social and civil problems attendant with "acceptable" non-homosexual behaviour. Often, unwanted pregnancies and abortion clinics are in this picture more to fuel the fire of the Religionists.
The simpler life, relatively free of major and Religious problems, could be enjoyed if human kind were seen as a product of evolution.
Authority to condemn homosexual acts.
The Bible is said to be the word of GOD. We are told that all of the manuscripts were written by men, who were inspired by God. We must take these statements as the truth, because there is absolutely no independent, reliably truthful confirmation available. We believe "on FAITH", or we do not believe, and cannot participate in the dialogue. I am sincerly sorry for introducing heretical doubt here, because that may be painful for many believers to read or to accept. Some say the Bible is the greatest of all writings. I cannot comment on that. I understand that the books and chapters were written over a span of approximately 300 years, which would tend to authenticate the credibility of each writer, if their manuscripts provided common information. But I must add that the writings cover a variety of subjects few of which obviously derive from the mind or the mouth of God. The OT offers the best opportunity for God-source information, but also the most unlikely situations; e.g. Noah's Flood and the scene with Adam and Eve and the discussion with the Snake.Note: The flood was to destroy all of mankind because man was so sinful, so God wished to start over. Look at the results!!! Question the source of the volume of flood waters covering the planet to at least 30,000 feet, and where it went when the water subsided presumably to "sea-level".
The bottom line: Is the Bible from God or from men with reason to have some common knowledge in their days along with a belief that Jesus was the promised Saviour? If it is a man written book, then who has the authority to forbid homosexual conduct between men and women?
Gays as godless sterotype.
I can only speak to this as I am a Catholic and a sinner. But I do know this. I can not and would not receive Holy Communion if I have committed mortal sin until I have made a good confession. If any of these homosexuals or lesbians, however well meaning, are actively engaged in a exual relationship, under canon law, they can not receive Holy Communion unless they confess and repent. That is immutable and unchanging church doctrine. That has not changed, even under Pope Benedict. If they are doing that or persisting in that, they are guilty of a sacrilege. In effect, they are doing themselves more harm than good by this behavior, according to church doctrine. So, if they can not receive in good standing, then why would they attempt to be part of the Church? There can be only one conclusion: They do not accept church doctrine regarding themselves and their life. You can respond with bitter expletives ad nauseam, But since the above is true, then they are hardly members in good standing. That could lead to another surmise: That one goal of the gay and lesbian community is to have these passages and words deleted from the Bible. If that should emerge as an issue of debate in the coming years, then we will surely see what Christ said when He stated: " I did not come into the world to unite, but to divide."

Keep the commandments
I'm not sure how "gays" are defining themselves as Christians. The Lord said that those who love him keep his commandments, and it is clear that Christians are not to engage in homosexual behaviors. I just don't understand how anyone can say that he or she loves Christ when Jesus clearly gave the commandment: "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination." (Lev. 18:22) There is no room for misunderstanding this, as Paul indicates when he condemns homosexuality: "And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet." (Rom.1:27) If "gays" really believe the Bible is the word of God, why aren't they living according to what it says? Could I call myself a fireman if, instead of putting out fires, I was a pyromaniac who started them? Neither can a homosexual call himself a Christian if he's doing the opposite of what Jesus commanded.
What victory I have in Jesus!
Yes, I say it is victorious because I put you to question and you fail to answer. You ignored my statements for you know they are true.
Hebrews 11:1-"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." This is the meaning of the Christian faith. Paul reasoned with people and proved to his own people the Jews that Jesus was the Messiah. Acts 17:2-3-"As his custom was, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he REASONED with them from the Scriptures, explaining and proving that the Messiah had to suffer and rise from the dead. 'This Jesus I am proclaiming to you is the Christ,' he said." Proverbs and other books and people demand that the people of God have understanding. Yet understanding does not overpower faith. Instead they are seen as being compatible. Have you not read Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis? The Cases for Faith and Christ by Lee Strobel? Or anything written by Josh McDowell? J.P. Moreland? All of these people have found it quite reasonable to believe that Christianity is true. As for Truth, why must there be so many? Is there not one correct answer in math or in any other subject areas? Sure, some are more correct than others, but there is only one true answer. (John 14:6).
No, I did not choose the beliefs in my religion, but then again I did not choose what kind of letters I wanted to use in the English language. Why? Because both were decided before I existed and were made by those with authority. The former has authority over all of creation, the latter was given authority over language spoken by a small part of creation. No I have not, but then have you? Most of those "religions" are quite laughable or questionable. Some are just variances of other major world religions. But Christianity I have found is liable to be proven either true or false. And I have found nothing worth mentioning that can reasonably prove it false. Yes Christianity displaced the mythological Greek deities, but reason-true, honest, and well thought-out reason-has yet to overcome or explain away Christianity. Understanding and faith are not at odds, but allies for anyone who'll use them. In fact, he who uses reason and understanding will find faith to be quite reasonable and understandable.
As I said before, you could not answer my questions and I declare it a victory for the Lord. You attacked when you could not answer. But I have answerred. As I have said before the apostle Peter was right when he spoke of people like you. (II Peter 2:12,18-19.)
But salvation is for everyone who will repent. So I ask you to repent as well so that you may find salvation too. (Romans 3:23, 6:23, John 3:17-18, I Thess. 4:13-17, Hebrews 10:1-18, and Revelation 21-22).
RELIGION = IGNORANCE
You can believe that your Bible is true. You can believe that Jesus died for you. You can believe everything from Genesis to Revelations. But, that does not make it TRUE.
You, and other people who believe in religion, use FAITH, defined as the ability to believe something you CANNOT prove. At a time in mankind's history it made some sense to use faith, I suppose. But, today we can use UNDERSTANDING, which is a much better way to live.
There are more than 34,000 different religions and some 350,000 churches (in the US alone) and not a single one of them is RIGHT. The TRUTH is
NOBODY KNOWS
I don't know, neither do you and that's okay. If someone did KNOW, we would have some many different "ideas" for truth.
I would ask you to consider the following questions regarding your FAITH:
Did you CHOOSE these beliefs? 98% of believers DID NOT, they inherited them.
Did you give thoughtful consideration to the other 34,000 religions? Of course, not.
Christianity replaced the Greek Gods (Mythology). Reason will replace Christianity. It's just a matter of time. Today 30% of Americans reject religion (mostly those under the age of 30). By 2050 60% of Americans will have no interest in religion.
The majority of the population using their minds and thinking is something to look forward to. Understanding beats Faith.
Can you not read Andrew?
My post offerred warnings and condemnations against heterosexual offenders, yet you ask where such things can be found. Here is more references, though I doubt you will pay attention to them: Leviticus 18:6-30, I Corinthians 5 and 6:12-20, and Revelation 21:8.
What proof can you offer that is reasonable in refuting the Resurrection? How can humanity have this universal idea that there is a right and wrong? The New Testament has more copies that are closer to the original manuscripts in time than the Iliad, Oddessy, Gaulic Wars, etc. The Dead Sea Scrolls show that the Jews have been faithful in preserving their Scriptures over a great expanse of time. How can all of creation suddenly exist when nothing existed before hand? How can evolution defeat irreducible complexity?
You hate God because you can not stand to know what you do is wrong.
Homosexuality is an ABOMINATION
What other references about heterosexuals are this strong?
Religion makes gay WRONG. It's very simple.
If you are GAY and you want Equal Rights you need to remove the "wrong" created by religion.
I am gay. I am not wrong. Religion is.
If we woke up tomorrow morning and religion had not been invented yet, we wouldn't invent it. It is no longer necessary.
Soon, christianity will become our most recent mythology. Only the ignorant continue to cling to religion.

The admonitions I am talking about do not offer any possibility of slavery or sexism. The apostle is clearly condemning the action of homosexuality which are perverse, unnatural, or whatever a translation uses to describe the lifestyle. I have read the epistles and nothing that Paul or any of the others have written suggests that they hate women or promoted slavery.
As to your question, I would if only I was an ancient Israelite who wished to fulfill the commands of the Lord my God. However, Christ and His servants the apostles have pointed out that no one can truly follow the law and that all of humanity is deserving of God's righteous anger instead of His amazing love. Yet, "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall never die but have eternal life"-John 3:16. Therefore, all sinners are equal in the eyes of a holy God and have equal opportunity to repent and gain salvation through His grace. Because of this, I can not carry out the command of capital punishment because I myself can not follow all of the requirements of the law. That is why grace has been provided for us. "What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?"-Romans 6:1-2. And yet this is what many of among us wish to do by condoning what is explicitly evil in the eyes of God. I a have already said that those who take a role of leadership within the church are expected to be a moral example for those who follow. But if we let this pass for some, then that moral figure falls apart. "...If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness."-Matthew 6:22-23.
Many will say that I or my God just hate homosexuals. Not so, for God has given many commands against heterosexual sins: Genesis 1:24, Exodus 20:14, Proverbs 5, 6:20-7:27, and Matthew 5:27-30 are few examples of this.
