Sarah Palin Plans Special Edition of Forthcoming Memoir for Christian Readers

Not much news in Vanity Fair's epic-length Sarah Palin profile, but there are two tidbits I haven't seen before on the Alaska governor's faithy side. First, Christian publisher Zondervan is issuing a separate, special edition of Palin's forthcoming memoir:
Soon Palin will take a crack at her own story: she has signed a book contract for an undisclosed but presumably substantial sum, and has chosen Lynn Vincent, a senior writer at the Christian-conservative World magazine, as co-author of the memoir, which is to be published next year not only by HarperCollins but also in a special edition by Zondervan, the Bible-publishing house, that may include supplemental material on faith.
Is there precedent for authors publishing separate editions for Christian readers? I've got a call into Zondervan and will report back.
The second tidbit surrounds the birth of Palin's son Trig last year:
When Trig was born, Palin wrote an e-mail letter to friends and relatives, describing the belated news of her pregnancy and detailing Trig's condition; she wrote the e-mail not in her own name but in God's, and signed it "Trig's Creator, Your Heavenly Father."
Reminds me of those roadside billboards quoting God from a few years back.

"reason of CA reply --- You are delusional. The "fly over" americans, and by that I assume you mean conservative Republicans had 8 years of dominance and they failed. I don't know what this "long break" is all about that you speak of.
Conservatives can, and HAVE, done a lot better than Palin. There's intelligence on your side too, please contribute to it. Ms. Palin lacks any political and education qualifications. Romney? FINE....palin, please no.

Palin is a CHIEF EXECUTIVE of a STATE.
Palin has ACCOMPLISHED more for Alasakan's than ANY other Governor has done for THEIR state based on preservation of FREEDOM and INCOME.
Try selling YOUR BRAND of thinking to that bastion of fiscal responsibility you come from....California.

Sarah Palin is a winner. She should have been running for President not VP. She would have won and will win the next presidential election.
