Sen. Ensign's Outrageous Idiocy

Not only did he break his marriage vows, but he also arranged for political favors & jobs for his mistress' family members!

What an insult to millions of honest, but unemployed citizens, who don't have such a hidden link in their resumes...

Why doesn't he RESIGN NOW for such corruption & greed???

Why doesn't the GOP leadership strip him of his party posts???

Down, Boy!

Senator Ensign is a veterinarian by training. How can his extra-marital fence-jumping habit be broken?

"Neuter and Spay, it's the Only Way."

Gee, ya think?

Politicians are only human, with the same drives and desires and everyone else. But this is what you get when you have a political party full of self-righteous know-it-alls who think they can tell everyone else how to run their own lives.

I'll start listening to the Republicans' relentless moralizing when they learn how to keep it in their pants.

Give me a break!

"Who doesnt care about morals and ethics, all they want is your money? Democrats"

What a joke! Republicans are certainly the epitome of "morals and ethics" now aren't they? Desiring a christian theocracy and suppressing the civil rights of an entire class of law-abiding, tax paying citizens, preaching "family values" all the while visiting prostitutes wearing diapers, soliciting blow jobs from men in public restrooms, soliciting sex from male pages online, etc. etc.

"Morals and ethics" indeed. Oh, and let's not forget, "good, loving christians."

Who wants your money? Democrats

Who thinks just because you earned it you have a right to spend it? Democrats

Who believed Bill Clinton was honest and could do no wrong, even though he stood there and LIED TO CONGRESS, THE SENATE, ALL THOSE WATCHING TV, and the WORLD? Democrats

Who doesnt care about morals and ethics, all they want is your money? Democrats

Who loves to jump up and down and attempt to draw attention off what a mess their newest President is making of the USA? Democrats?

Who blamed President Bush for 9/11 and was insane enough to rant and rave that it was all his fault? Democrats

Who believes that its time to turn America into a socialist country? Democrats, Barney Frank, B. Obama, et al.

Constitutional Issues....Disclosure Issues

All those "moral" poiticians are publicly opposed to gay and lesbians being constitutionally allowed to be involved in sex at all, but privately have no "moral" problems being constitutionally allowed to put their collective peck-ers in any peck-ee they can find.

...We require "financial disclosures" to be filed annually for politicians, why not a literal "government affairs disclosure" requirement as well. Then, if the adultery or sexcapades are not listed on the diclosure form, but they are found out later, the politician is automatically removed from office. These could be listed under the disclosure form section: "Rod in Staff".

Good job, James of CA (below)!

I'd add here that the "spiritual discernment" of these political-ministry people, too, is too often lacking.

Ensign, Vitter, Craig and Foley were once among the darlings of the church-supported GOP and of spokespeople like Tony Perkins. They likewise mis-measured Ted Haggard.

These church guys hold themselves out as being sort of God-trained to "discern" good leaders---and then some truth comes out about many of whom they "chose", and leaves them looking blind as bats---which most of them are in reality.

Value families? Hardly

Who opposed social security? Republicans.

Who opposes healthcare for all? Republicans.

Who opposes healthcare for poor kids? Republicans.

Who opposed Obama's tax policies (tax breaks for families)? Republicans.

Who opposed Medicaid for poor families? Republicans.

Who just voted against funding for the troops? Republicans.

Republicans don't value families. They don't value God. They value money and power. That's it.

Why any Republican voters are gullible enough to believe in televangelist Fox News brand politicians like Ensign (former Casino owner) is beyond the 75% of us normal Americans who see the GOP for what it is: a writhing pit of infernal snakeoil salesmen.
