White supremacy is the sickest insanity that the world has ever known. White europeans of every faith, nationality and so called ethnicity are the sole blame for the North and South American slave trade. And that includes Jews. If it were Arabs we would be in Saudi Arabia. If it were other Africans, we would still be in Africa. Either way we would'nt even be having this conversation. Portuguese raiders spent generations trying to invade the coast of Africa and to this day count it as a hallmark of thier greatnesss that they were the first of the European enslavers to succesfully capture and enslave Africans. Before the era of political correctness, white americans were all too proud to proclaim the slave trade as an achievement and evidence of thier dominance. But now it seems as if this is not so much something to be proud of, so they deny that they were ever even involved. As illogical as it seems,it makes perfect sense. This is quite typical. This is a culture that has built itself on plunder and revising, rewriting, or totally fabricating history. As a matter of fact the new revision is for them to characterize themselves as the victims. "Reverse Racism" is the new catch phrase of the unrepentent and determined white supremist. Take notes. See who are the ones repeating this catch phrase over and over again and you will know what I am talking about. Jeremiah Wright is an easy target. Why? Because he is a proponent and practicioner of thier false and totally plaigarized religion. Therefore he allows himself to be judged by there standard. If his point of departure were from a totally independent paradigm that had nothing to do with thier initial and foundational presumption they try to pretend that he didn't exist. At the end of the day it doesn't matter what the oppresor thinks of the oppressed. He/She is your/our enemy. So all that matters is that they kneel and relenquish.

As a history teacher I would think that you would be able to see our history for what it is. Are we a perfect country? No, but I defy you to tell me another country that has done better for not only their own but for the world in general.
Don't tell me how bad we are. We have enough nuke power to destroy all our enemies 100 times over and yet we elect to restrain ourselves. If "The Jews" were in control as some of you would like to believe then why is Obama out there telling Muslims that he is their new best friend? Why haven't "them jews" convinced us to nuke their enemies???

Marc, I am definitely saying the Founding Fathers had set up a system in which the Average Joe would not be able to have a big sayso in government. And I'll tell you why...
Who were the Founding Fathers? Plumbers? Janitors? Office Clerks? Farmers? Nope, they were Attorneys, Politicians, Wealthy Landowners, Wealthy Merchants. These were the Founding Fathers. And at that time in history, there was collision of classes (yes, American had a collision of Classes!!!) between the Farmers in the Western areas of Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Massachusetts, the Carolinas, and New York VERSUS Wealthy Merchants, Attorneys, Politicians, and Landowners. That is why, when the Constitution was being formulated the Founding Fathers went into a secret location and closed all the doors and windows from the public. Why did they do that and not allow average citizens to be part of this process? Because they wanted to develop a system in which they were able to retain power and not allow the average citizen (who they perceived as uneducated) the ability to have sayso. Hence, the development of the REPUBLIC. The average citizen did not care about fighting the Revolutionary War. It was Propoganda from the wealthy (hence Thomas Paine's book called "Common Sense") that urged the regular citizens to fight. And after the war, we had rebellions such as Shay's Rebellion. Why? Because the Average Joe felt left out of the process. They were angry but shutdown and told to shutup...
You're right though, there are good points and bad points about a republic. If we can vote for representatives that are accountable for their actions, it would work. But we can't do that because it is now proven this system doesn't work. Interest groups have power. MONEY TALKS!!! Representatives are dirty and only see green... On top of that due to the fact that the American public is so uneducated about worldly matters and see biased reporting from the media, they are not able to really formulate a proper response to their representatives. They just feel whatever the government says is good... They are trained that way through schooling and fed garbage Propoganda (Weapons of Mass Destruction!!! Terrorists!!! SUICIDE ATTACKS!!!) You know I'm more afraid of my own country than anyoune else's. We were the only country to use a nuclear weapon on a civilian population. We exterminated the native populations in the US. We were the last 1st world nation to end slavery and the last one to provide equality to people of African ethnicity...
So, yes, I'm saying our system is corrupt. Decisions are made by government officials based on $$$ from interests, not based on the well-being of American people... That's SCARRY!!! Are the American people to blame, yes and no... I was a history teacher, so I know how the government manages people's thought processes about history and politics from an early age... It's Scarry!!!

If you think the Jews in America don't have any control over our Congressmen, Federal Reserve Board, and Presidency, then you either blind to what is really going on or ignorant and uneducated. THIS COUNTRY IS RUN BY INTEREST GROUPS, AND THE JEWS ARE THE MOST POWERFUL NATIONAL INTEREST GROUP IN THE US OF A!!! If you don't think that has any sway on how to formulate our foreign policy, then you need to go to college and learn something. The press, media, television shows, and movies are owned by them. They have used it as propoganda to sway Americans to believe Arabs and Muslims are bad, Jews are good.
Big Oil, Insurance Companies, Ciggarette Corporations, Defence and Military, and Jews are the interest groups that sway our representatives in the government. Not Average Joe.
So, before you try to nail down Rev. Wright as a racist or bigot, read a little more into unbiased news sources and gather information. Answer questions such as, why are we always supporting Israel during their attrocities committed against innocent women and children of Palestine? Why are we in Iraq (It's because they have OIL and they are perceived as a threat to Israel). Why are we now turning to fight Iran (It's because they are a threat to Isarel and have OIL). Why did we go to Afghanistan (It's because they were a threat to Israel and Oil companies are planning on building a pipeline). COMMON THEME HERE ISN'T THERE? Next will be Iran, then Pakistan, and the US will then be able to pump oil and move it through pipelines down thru Turkey and Afghanistan... Funny how things are working out in the middle east, isn't it?

I hope that I am just misunderstanding you here. You are not suggesting that the founding fathers put in place a Republic and The Constitution to screw us over are you?
I fail to believe that for one second George Washington, a man who put his own life and families lives on the line to free this country, a man who was offered to be made KING of this land, a man who could have been president of this country for his whole life, a man who could have signal handedly wrote the constitution himself for his own benefit, and who was so well thought of could have gotten away with anything he really wanted to but didn't would have sat idly by while the rest of our founding fathers screw us all by making a republic instead of a democracy.
If that is not what you meant then I apologize but we all have to understand that living in a republic is better than living in a democracy. In a democracy we might very well still have slavery. In a democracy your property can be taken from you and given to the majority at their say so. In a democracy if you are in a minority you have absolutely no rights what so ever.
In a Republic the minority is protected from the majority by the rules. We just have to make our representative accountable to those rules. It is quite simple to do. You just have to be willing to vote for good men whether they have a (D) or (R) or nothing in front of their names. Their are to many people voting party lines blindly.
The Rants of Jeremiah Wright
There seems to be a jealousy from Jeremiah Wright based on his angry and argumentative disposition which has not been reciprocated. He appears to be thinking out loud & talking to himself alot in the face of the media. He seems to regret sabotaging his friendship with President Obama then Senator Obama but does not possess the humility to admit it. He is too arrogant to admit that his comments and behavior against the President were wrong and stem from a deep emotional humiliation of conviction of his wrong doing. I think that he misses the friendship and wish they were friends. He is desperate for attention also as if he wish he were the politician making a difference (that's were the jealousy exists). I would never attend any church for which this man created a sermon.

The comments to this article clearly show how much Antisemitism there is in America. Clearly, lots of ignorant and pathetic people. How can any decent person support this obviously hateful person? It's outrageous. What a travesty. I don't know what Obama was thinking. Unbelievable that this African American as a member of the supposedly oppressed race would malign the Jews who have been the most oppressed in history? Or is it jealousy that the Jews have been successful notwithstanding their oppression? Just curious that quite a few leaders of African Americans in the US have been quite outspoken Antisemites.
