The Lord of our Constitution

As for the Declaration of Independence we declared our independence under the authority of God. When one claims another's authority as there own then they fall under that authority. By doing this there are obligations that must be kept. Our founders knew this and where thoughtful enough to give mention to God's only begotten son, our Lord. He is the only individual mentioned in our constitution. So, God reigns supreme over the United States and Jesus Christ is the Lord of our Constitution. This means Jesus Christ is our Divine citizen and entitled to all the entitlements that are offered to any other citizen. Jesus has the freedom of speech and we have to freedom to speak of him. The school prayer is the choice of the community were the prayer is going to be said. It is no one elses business. This would be freedom of religion.

Liberalism defined?

For years people threw the Roman's bible verses below at me and I just have to laugh. You see I was a gay, evangelical Christian who finally decided to come out after reading Romans 1:18-31. It was simple. It didn't describe me. I don't hate God, I'm not ruthless, I am not senseless, faithless, heartless,I spend time taking care of my elderly mother, so I sure don't hate my parents. I have one partner who I have loved and cared for over a decade now. I don't worship the creation, I revere God. Paul was talking about totally depraved heterosexuals who ended up doing anything to hurt, hate and destroy others. So, for you gay people who cringe when you have this junk thrown at you -- read it and ask yourself, "Does this describe me?" I bet it doesn't. And ask them to show you just how it applies. And for all you arrogant, ruthless, senseless and, yes, faithless, angry heterosexuals out there - come down off your high horses and mingle with us common folks. You might even find you like some of us. :-)

Liberalism defined

Romans 1:18-31

God's Wrath Against Mankind

18The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

21For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.

24Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

28Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. 29They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless.

Oh, the irony...

"I've never seen a time quite like this. It just illustrates what happens when we don't have what the Founding Fathers referred to as checks and balances, where the excesses of one party or one branch of government limit the reach of power hungry and self-serving people and keeps them form doing things that are harmful to the country. That's the way the system was designed. We have 2 major political parties in this country, not one. And bipartisanship is a media creation that's designed to promote one point of view instead of the debate that should occur."

Sounds like Bush/Cheney years to me...

I am a Christian

I am a devout Christian and Dobson does not speak for me.

American christianity is whacked!

Just turn on the tv and cruise throught the channels almost every other one in the south...american christianity is whacked and all over the map...no wonder the youth are saying "no thanks"

Make a stand for hate!

It's good to know that someone's willing to stand up for hate in these difficult times!

Fruitcake anyone?

Yes, it's the same one the republicans were handing out last year, and the year before that, ad nauseum.

"Liberals Liberals, Liberals!!! They are the devil!!!"

Sheesh, Enough already.

Shrinking Mind?

Dobson must be suffering from senile dementia because he's acting like a pouty strong willed child. If they won't play the way I like i'll take my ball and go home must be what he's thinking. For the last 8 years Republicons called everyone else crybabies and wouldn't even listen to anyone else because they had a "mandate". Praying for our country is a good idea. The bible says to pray for your leaders also. Is Dobson praying for Obama? I doubt it.

James Dobson

I am a christian and James Dobson doesn't speak for me.
