Carrie Prejean Calls Release of Topless Photo an Attack on Her Faith
By Dan Gilgoff, God & Country
After a website posted a photo of Carrie Prejean topless, the Miss USA runner-up issued a statement calling the picture part of a campaign to attack her faith:
On April 19, I chose to answer a question during the 2009 Miss USA pageant in an honest and personal manner that expressed my views of the long-established definition of marriage as being between a man and a woman. That answer, and my commitment to stand by my beliefs, has since resulted in attacks on me and my integrity as a woman. We live in a great country; a nation that was built on freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Yet my comments defending traditional marriage have led to intimidation tactics that seek to undermine my reputation and somehow silence me and my beliefs, as if opinion is only a one-way street.
I am a Christian, and I am a model. Models pose for pictures, including lingerie and swimwear photos. Recently, photos taken of me as a teenager have been released surreptitiously to a tabloid Web site that openly mocks me for my Christian faith. I am not perfect, and I will never claim to be. But these attacks on me and others who speak in defense of traditional marriage are intolerant and offensive. While we may not agree on every issue, we should show respect for others' opinions and not try to silence them through vicious and mean-spirited attacks....
What do you think? Is posting and decrying a racy photo fair game in making the case that someone who claims to be a spokesperson for Christian morals is a hypocrite? Or is it out of bounds because it's an ad hominem attack that has nothing to do with the gay marriage issue?

Leave poor carrie alone!!!! she is a lamb of God sent to us to help spread the message of our Father in Heaven. Do not discriminate against her ways of letting others, know the truth.
Although she has given into the sins of the flesh she is letting others know about the virtues of Jesus through her pornography. I too did not fully understand what her intentions were until I realized that she is infact using her breasts as beacons of eternal life. By using the sins of the flesh she has in fact directed several others towards eternal life. She is a missionary traveling through the land of sinners and we should all be proud of her actions.
Just as Mark Foley brought together Christians all around the world by sacrificing his innocents so too is sacrificing her morality in the name of Jesus.
Wind was blowing
She said the wind was blowing and my response to that is "I have a nice bridge in Brooklyn for sale"
Encouraged!!!!
I have to honestly say the I was shocked when I heard Ms. Prejean's response to that question, but I'm also extremely encouraged. Being a 100% straight makeup/hair artist and a Bible believing man of God, I know how challenging it is in the beauty industry to succeed! While I do strongly agree with the Biblical views about homosexuality and lesbianism, I'm not judgemental at all towards people who live that lifestyle. I know that I'm not perfect and fall short of Gods glory daily in some way(s).
I've seen my opportunities for work become more and more limited, the stronger I've grown in the word, and in effect, become more sensitive to God's voice a the things & people that I need to separate myself from because they are not of God! For the past 10 years, I worked with a celebrity makeup artist and his agency and through the agency, I've worked with some of the most talented, well known, and beautiful women in the world. The thing that always prevented me from being part of the "in crowd' was the fact that I'm not a gay man. In their eyes, a gay man can best inform a woman how to look their best other than a man who LOVES and in attracted to women!!!!!! The other artists would always talk about me and feel that I'm not being social when they hit the town and do their thing after work and I would go to my hotel room and read my Bible. Things just became very uncomfortable and after much fasting and prayer, I removed myself from the agency. Things have been very difficult for me, but I have the peace of Jesus in me and about the situation.
Ms. Prejean's response brought tears to my eyes because I know how difficult it is to speak your mind in that situation, truthfully and with the conviction of Jesus!!! I've been put on the spot many, many times. I know most of those times were to get me to say something to further push me away, but I always stayed true to my beliefs and the Word of God. Her words not only encouraged myself, but I know they encouraged many other Bible followers as well. Thank you Jesus for blessing her with inner beauty and courage to stand up for what your word says!!! AMEN!!!!
