Carrie Prejean - Same sex marriage

Why is it when someone comes out (no pun intended) with an honest answer and against the politically correct opinion it cost that person dearly? Ms. Prejean was and is entitled to express an opinion over and above the status quo. Not everyone accepts the same sex marriage concept and it was not long ago it was considered immoral!

1st Amendment Right

Why is it when someone expresses their opinion, that a bunch of Flaming Posterior Orifices get their collective panties in a bunch and scream racism, bigot and whatever other label you what to place on them?

She is clearly entitled to her opinion and if you don't like what she has to say or disagree with her opinion, then that is your right, but it is not your right top force your opinion on others.

SAME SEX MARRIAGE

Call it a civil union but not marriage, there is no such thing as two of the same sex getting married. If it becomes legal in my state in my eyes the couple is still not married because laws are made by humans and humans make mistakes all the time. Carrie Prejean had every right to speak her mind and the hell with all these gay rights activists who made such a big stink aboutit. Any way I have no problem with gays being able to get civil a union legally, just don't call it marriage. Also the bigger stink the gays make about this issue the more I believe they will be prejudiced against.

...

I'm an EXTREME leftist and I am all for gay marriage. Obviously, I disagree with Carrie's views. But I support her right to answer a question honestly and express her views freely. That is a constitutional right, and no one can say she was wrong for expressing her beliefs.
