P.S. You forgot to quote Leviticus 20:13. How convenient!!

Here, I'll post it for you and the world to see:

Leviticus 20:13 Hebrew Study Bible (Apostolic / Interlinear)

KJV with Strong's

If a man also lie with mankind as he lieth with a woman both of them have committed an abomination they shall surely be put to death their blood shall be upon them.

Can you read the word ABOMINATION. Yeah :)

Can anyone point me the exact verse in the Bible that God abhors, detests, prohibits, gay marriage/same-sex marriage. Where oh where can you find that God said "There should be no male-male or female-female marriage for all mankind."

If God were to list every abominable act in this world, the Bible would never end.

Romans 1:27 (Lexicon)

And likewise also the men leaving the natural use of the woman burned in their lust one toward another - men with men working that which is unseemly and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet

Romans 1:32 (Lexicon)

Who knowing the judgement of God that they which commit such things are worthy of death not only do the same but have pleasure in them that do them

You're missing the big picutre. Jesus said if you want to be my disciples you must first DIE TO YOURSELF, PICK UP YOUR CROSS AND FOLLOW ME. Are you reflecting Jesus when you fornicate, commit adultery, are a lesbian or homosexual, steal, lie, cheat, murder, slander, gossip, bicker, lust? Die to yourself, it doesn't matter if you were "born that way" or practiced it, you must die to yourself in order to be like Christ Jesus. If you are a Christian, act like one and you don't slander God and His Holy Word!

i am not a pro-legislation of gay marriage activist. I am so much a Bible-believing Christian. i want to ask everyone where oh where in the Holy Bible does God prohibits same-sex marriage. There are no homosexual marriages, weddings recorded in the Bible. Can anyone point me the exact verse in the Bible that God abhors, detests, prohibits, gay marriage/same-sex marriage. Where oh where can you find that God said "There should be no male-male or female-female marriage for all mankind." or "The only marriage I can accept is male-female marriage beyond that marriage paradigm is an abomination." If God detests and abhors same-sex marriages/union he should have given a clear cut prohibition, command or instruction just like the food laws, sexual purity laws, sabbath laws. Cross-dressing is forbidden in Deuteronomy and can we brand women who wear pants an abomination? In fact pants were first designed for men not for women. Same-sex sexual activities (anal intercourse)are forbidden specifically for males in Leviticus and female-female sex is not mentioned. Even if verses in Romans 1:26-27 are pulled out of context and used to spew hatred, bigotry, prejudice it will only condemn people who are naturally straight and yet sexually craved for the members of their own sex. Careful Bible reading and studying in its context is really needed or else we'll end up misguided and mislead. In conclusion although same-sex sexual activities are mentioned and forbidden in the Bible there's nothing recorded or stated there that simply being gay or lesbian or homosexual or heterosexaul or straight is an abomination and therefore deserves God's wrath. To add anything to what the Bible says is a loud blasphemy against God.

hey efren agbulos

where can you find the word homosexuality in the bible? in the modern english version of bible? i can say how ignorant, bigoted, demonized, demon-possessed, bible-twisting individual. thank you!

reply to reply to reality

We are above the animals according to scripture, and we are to behave better than the animal so are you saying that just because some guy says that animals allude to the homosexual tendecies that we should too?

I believe that we are set apart from the animal world because we have a brain that can think, reason, conclude and all the other things our brains do that the animal kingdom does not.

There is a huge difference between the human and nimal condition.

reply to Reality

You miss the point...a lot.

Gay folks aren't asking for straights to become gay; they want their own reltionships to be recognized with the same validity as heterosexual ones. So, your second sentence, where did that come from?

Regarding same-sex acticity and the animal world, read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexuality_in_animals

Know your facts.
