I agree with Railer of Arizona. If these people are going to be allowed to hold sway over our politics be it evangelical or Catholic preaching from the pulpit then they should be paying taxes. No one will convince me that people like Warren and Falwell are or weren't in it for the money. They have a flock of followers who pay good money to make these men rich and thereby attempting to buy their way into heaven. Any religion bringing in money and talking politics regardless of religious affiliation should be made to pay like the rest of us. They have a right to freedom of speech as do the rest of us, but we PAY for that freedom some with our lives and the rest of us with our tax dollars. This also speaks volumes to the gullibility of the people of this nation.
