Sadly normal

Rev. Land shows his ignorance by simply opening his mouth. He is the perfect example that someone who is educated can be painfuly stupid..Likewise the first commentor to this article.....He asks "Have you never heard of justice" I'll ask this minion of wisdom if he has ever head of Grace...which is why Jesus came to this Earth.

Previous Comment

The previous comemntor is biblically illiterate, illogical and been co-opted by left wing hate mongers. It is our right as Americans to go after our causes just as it is your right to go after yours. Bpatist groups get no money from the federal gov't nor would we take it. Do you think God would want us to leave millions in a brutal dictatorship while millions died under Hussein and did nothing. Your view of God is cetainly warped, have you never heard of justice?

Richard Land

You missed some important questions:

1. How much money did the Babtist groups get from our government for Based Initiatives where you teach abstinece only? If a church takes money away from our gov., where it could be used to help the poor, while they have rooms, teachers, and everything they need to teach abstinence, I have problems with that.

2. How much money does Land get paid? So many of the TV evangelicals make multi-millions and live in multi-million dollar homes and live like super kings, I wonder if they ever read the Bible verse that says it is harder for a rich man to go to Heaven than it is for a camel to go through the eye of a needle.

3. Do you think that GOD, who knows everything, wanted us to kill hundreds of thousands of Iraqis - burn them to death, burn off their arms and legs, scar them forever, considering that Bush and his group did not tell us the truth to get into this war.

4. What about no air defense on 9 11?

5. Why should anyone vote for any member of the Bush family? There are many stores about GWB and GHWB and other women.

6. The Evangelicals cause a lot of hate when they go after their causes, and they need to read the Bible. God does not allow us to hurt other people.
