The Scientific Method Applied to, say, Faith
One of the major contributions of science is not just the scientific method applied to science, but a scientific method that can be applied to other than just the recognized branches of science. For example, applied to humanity's essential beliefs, such as its done in http://ofhumanity.blogspot.com.
The question that I would appreciate USNews exploring is this: Why doesn't the scientific method (i.e., reasoning verified by the natural world) used more in
non-scientific endeavours such as in, say, faith?
