Waning Anti-Bush Sentiment Frays President Obama's Popularity

Yeah there is definitly a straining expression on her face...
However, in returning to the politics. The U.S. is THE most tolerent and accepting nation in the the WORLD. And we are a world of nations.Anti American sentiment is fueled by ignorance and intellectual dishonesty.
As a realist I cannot help but pick out the hypocracy of all those that feel they know what a just society is or what it is to be just. Many forces seek to defame dismantle and irradicate perhaps the most just man that ever lived ...and as a fact Jesus did walk this earth... Yet they champion uneveness and the awkward for their social construction. Yes... It is a construction constructed by the hands of good intentions.
This utopia that selfloathers use as a measuring device to quantify and qualify American existance are the hypocrites. You perhaps express more human love toward a television demigod like Harpo or Barak Obamanation than your own children. You most likely exact an harsher penalty upon your gardener or housekeeper for fowling up their job than anyone who would kill you neighbors child. You would perhaps seek revenge on another for cutting you off in traffic. And for those who would put their FAITH into a politician... Well, you can all send me a dollar bill please and I have a bridge to sell you too. Fool
The surf is anything but up
One part Rod Serling with a little Kameahamea thrown in -interesting enough on paper but still waiting to see him champion American values & ideals for a change.
Things arn't as they seem

I think I understand.
His ideas sounded profound. Problem is his changing it and/or implementing of it.
Personal, I call him a Flem Flam Man.
Bush was better than Obama
It pains me to say this, but it is true. Obama is a trainwreck. Like most, I was consumed with his charm and his vision of the future. It is clear to me now that he is a radically left fraud and an ego maniac. I am both emarrassed and pissed that I voted for this man. I will not make that mistake again.
Done with Obama
I voted for Barack Obama. I was an idiot. Would McCain have been worse? That's guessing. What I do know is I voted for Barack Obama because I didn't want more Bush. Instead he's continued everything from warrantless spying to Guantanamo.
And I see a lot of hypocrites covering for him.
The Iraq war continues, the Afghanistan war continues and we've got drones attacking Pakistan.
I'm the idiot who thought Obama stood for peace. I will not be voting for him in 2012. I may just not vote for president but I will never again vote for Barack Obama. He betrayed every campaign promise.
It took longer than 9 months to screw things up
I haven't loved everything Obama has done, either. In particular, I want him to move faster on his pledges to eradicate torture and close Gitmo, and I want to see stronger regulation of the financial markets move into place ASAP.
But to think that he could undo all the grievous damages of the Bush years in less than a year is either naive or a sign of the kind of impatience often associated with the white privileged classes -- the kind of people who tap their feet, sigh loudly, and look pointedly at their watch when the barista doesn't get them their beverage RIGHT NOW because they have a "schedule" (unlike the rest of the people in the world). And he's had to push uphill against the most vile, ignorant, violent attacks -- attacks that Erbe aids and abets with her nonsensical and idiotic equating of Obama with Jesse Helms because of his choice of basketball companions. Yeah, Obama is JUST LIKE Jesse Helms, Bonnie -- what with the way he has put more women in Cabinet-level positions than any other president, has promoted women of color (Hilda Solis, Lisa Jackson, Sonia Sotomayor, Susan Rice) to real positions of authority, overturned the Mexico City policy, signed Lily Ledbetter, signed hate-crimes legislation that includes crimes based on gender as well as race and sexual orientation, and has a Justice Dept. that has signaled its willingness to stop prosecuting people for selling and using medical marijuana AND its willingness to consider foreign women fleeing domestic violence as worthy of political asylum. Oh, and he's genuinely interested in tackling global warming, rather than pretending it doesn't exist. Funny, Bonnie Erbe claims to care about these things at her "official" bio, but I guess her stances on policy are fungible, depending on how badly her fee-fees have been hurt by not getting the symbolic female president she apparently believed was hers by right.
Interesting that the teabaggers who scream so loudly about the budget didn't turn out to protest Dick "Deficits Don't Matter" Cheney as he and Bush burned through the Clinton surplus. And unlike the Bush/Cheney administration, Obama does seem to have some interest in giving Congress a hand in legislation -- that whole "checks and balances" thing. That too takes more time than ruling solely by executive fiat.
If Erbe were capable of making an honest argument about the ways in which Obama has fallen short in his first year, that would be one thing. But she's only interested in demagoguery. It's pretty apparent that she's one of those HRC supporters who actually believed it was "Hillary's turn" and that anyone who ran against Hillary was ipso facto a sexist. It's about the least empowering argument I can imagine making for women in politics -- "We can only win if no one runs against us," but that's how Erbe and her PUMA ilk see it.
Yes, but...
Obama has been a big disappointment. Still, I can't help but feel that if John McCain had been elected president, instead of Obama, things would probably be even worse.
Erbe hates obama because Obama disrespects women.....
Why does this suprise Erbe. She voted for the Muslim and got what she asked for.
"SLID" into the Presidency? What is he, a salamander?
Bonnie, your predetermined dislike of the president "slides" into your every syllable. This is quite the follow-up to your "Misogynist President Won't Dribble With Women!" article which de-personned Mrs. Obama as a "Stepford Wife."
Hillary Clinton, who was forced not only to give up headbands but publish a chocolate-chip cookie recipe because of vicious attackers like you, would identify with Michelle undoubtedly.
