It's Not a 'Vast Right Wing Conspiracy,' Mr. Clinton, Just Honest Disagreement

Bill Clinton had a tendency to trust the media too easily when he was in office and that unfortunate tendency has continued unabated into his post-presidential period. Yesterday, he caved into a phraseology he should have avoided like crazy. From ABC News:

Former President Bill Clinton says the right-wing conspiracy that attacked him during his presidency now is after President Obama.

When asked whether the "vast right-wing conspiracy" is still present today, the former president answered without hesitation, "Oh you bet."

Are there a lot of conservatives out there trying to do in Clinton's reputation? And trying to do in some of President Obama's programs? Of course! Is it a "vast conspiracy?" Somehow conspiracy feels like the wrong word.

There are a lot of moderate and conservative Americans who legitimately disagree with some Obama initiatives, including his as-yet-unknown version of healthcare reform. Are they all "conspiring" with each other? No more than liberals whom right-wingers might refer to as a "vast left-wing conspiracy."

I do agree with former President Clinton, however, that some of the so-called leaders of the Right wing, Limbaugh, Beck, et al, have gotten out of control. They are spewing venom in a way that makes public displays of intense anger acceptable to people. Some mentally ill followers (and there are mentally ill activists on all sides of every issue) interpret that as tacit permission to commit violence, even murder. To wit, the murders of Ob-gyn doctors. For that, the angry wing of the conservative movement is dead on responsible.

But a vast right-wing conspiracy? Don't think so.

Bonnie's bias

Even when disagreeing with her liberal loves, she can't help but qualify her criticism by concluding with paragraph that trashes and chastises two radio personalities more than she does Clinton's ridiculous victim complex. Get a job in a grocery store Bonnie, you'd learn something.

OB-GYN doctors????

Bonnie, are you refering the the murder of abortionists? I am a pro-life individual, hence I do not promote or condone any unlawful murder. I am pro-life not pro-death, but this conspiracy you are talking about has killed maybe a handful of abortionist; however, the murder of millions of unborn babies does not deem a conspiracy? Hmmmmm doesn't make much logical sense does it. I believe it seems rather moronic. Killing an abortionist is of course not the answer to the abortionist killing thousands of babies, and yes it is a baby in there, not a dinosaur, or a dog, or a lawn mower. Therefore, Bonnie you must make a distinguishable difference in an OBGYN who is interested in the HEALTH of a woman not the destruction of - which is what the abortionist is in the business of - the destruction of life. If you say the abortionist is interested in the health of women, what about the millions of little girls (in what should be the safest place on earth for that little girl) who have been dismembered and slaughtered by the abortionist? Is that what we show our little girls, that if mommy is in a tough spot in her life, it would be best for you and for mommy if she had this "health care professional" suck your head and feet and hands and beating heart all apart? So, I apologize for getting off topic Bonnie, but when you talk about the "right wing conspiracy" being involved for the murder of OB-GYN's you really should call the abortionist by their true name. I do not condone violence, but when a young toddler is murdered by his or her mother or father, or a young girl brutally raped by a man, you do not hear people candy coating the truth then do you? No, so why then do we candy coat this unjust murder of developing babies and call it health care? Why, because our sick world has allowed distorted assumptions of some law makers to put a distorted and sick law in the books? We can't see sickness and evil for what it is if the law says its o.k. to dismember millions of our own young? I believe we have a much more sick and sinister conspiracy by some to cover up abortion under the sick pretense of women's reproductive rights. I have women near and dear to me that are living under severe bouts of depression and self hatred for having multiple abortions years ago. So called "women's rights" groups don't talk about these self destructive consequences of what our society deems acceptable, for a woman to kill her own child in the safest place - the womb, where we all came from. They don't tell you about the mental anguish and opression women experience after choosing such a disordered end to their pregnancy. They don't tell you that you will almost undoubtedly experience severe post partum depression and fleeting thoughts when and if you choose to eventually have children. So, Bonnie, please stop romanticizing your clouded and disordered "women's rights" views. Please don't put OB-GYN doctors who deliever babies in the same category of those who end life unjustly.

QUESTION FOR EVERYONE OUT THERE.....
