Do you research anything before writing your blog?

Bonnie, Bonnie, Bonnie. Why should anyone tell the one voice that stays true to Reagan principles - the last successful President, that he should be quiet. Maybe, just the opposite would be more appropriate. Maybe they should tell people like you to listen. Really listen, not just respond to soundbites. But you can't reason with people who fail to think. Limbaugh is dramatic at times, but he speaks truth which is more than can be said about virtually any of the "leaders" in Washington - from either political party.

Thank you Cornyn!

""This is not the kind of tone any of us want to set when it comes to performing our constitutional responsibilities of advise and consent."

I haven't laughed so hard in weeks! The Truth "is not the kind of tone any of us want to set". And I'm sure Cornyn is still wondering why the Repubs lost so big in 08.

I wonder if he thought the kind of tone the demonic Democrats set in the Advise and Consent hearings for Alito and Roberts, and for Bork and Thomas, and for all the rest of the eminently well qualified-- BY DEMOCRATS before they were named-- candidates that the evil Dems trashed, slandered and lied about was the right kind of tone.

Sonia Sodomyzer made a racist remark. It was made voluntarily and thoughtfully. Ergo she is a racist. The proper tone to set is always the Truth. The Republican Party is not going to recover it's value by being a mirror image of the Despicable Dems.

Bush, Limbaugh & Gingrich?

Bush hasn't said a word and has been repectively silent. It's those other two, so I don't know why she grouped them together. Force of habit, I guess. He's still the left's boogeyman.

Freedom of speech

Seems very easy why they wont zip it..Most of the news outlets

and news papers are not even playing or writting what they are saying....Sooo Bonnie why be so concerned, or are you just baiting the readers . Republicans are so far underground bonnie

i dont think you have to worry. nice try

not so fast

After being a Democrat for 40 years, the GOP is putting a face on the true LIBERAL ideas. I will be changing my voter reg. before the 2010 elections and encourage all my union brothers to do the same.!!!!!!!!!!!

Let 'em die

So the right-wingers are all up-in-arms about someone suggesting that they should stop listening to people like Rush Limbaugh if they want to stay viable as a political party in this country, eh? Well, I say, let 'em be "up in arms" about it. The more influence that people like Rush Limbaugh have on the Republican Party the more marginalized it is going to become. It's the Republicans' funeral. If that's the path the Republican Party wishes to take, well, you won't see many people like me shedding any tears over it!

Bonnie

Have you noticed that you are retarded........ And I am sure the mental handicaped are embarassed by you.

Rush/Newt 2012

Show of hands.... WHo else is LOVING watching the GOP go down like the titanic??? Hopefulkly when she resurfaces she will once again be a RESPECTABLE party of business, not a scary illegal party of the religions wrong.

zip it

Louise is right, Bonnie. Pres. Bush has been very circumspect and kept his own counsel. As far as Limbaugh and every one else goes, including Bonnie Erbe, this is still America, right? One is still allowed to speak one's mind under the protection of the Constitution? The GOP doesn't have to tell anyone to zip it. Perhaps if the GOP instead stood behind the principles of the Constitution and Bill of Rights, they would find the unity they seek.

WHY CONCERN RE. REPUBLICANS?

HAVE YOU EVEN LISTENED TO THE PUBLIC WITH THEIR IGNORED TEA PARTIES? PERHAPS THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS DEAD. IT HAS KILLED THE GOLDEN GOOSE AND WAISTED ALL THE EGGS. THEY HAD THE HELP OF THE DEMOCRATS. ALL THE POLITICOS IN WASHINGTON ARE BLIND TO ANYTHING BUT KEEPING OR GAINING POWER.FOR THAT THEY ALL NEED RE-ELECTION.WILL THE TAXPAYERS GRANT THEM TENURE? ONLY THE SHADOW KNOWS.
