Poll Gives Sarah Palin No Shot in Alaska Senate Race; Again She Blames Media

palin -Female W. Bush
please start using better sources for your history.
Look at the economy...The economy that was saved by George once after Clinton, once after 9-11 and once more if any dems in congress would listen when he warned 5 times about the "no problem" sub prime mess. And let's include one for the future when he would have solved the "no problem" SS mess that will be soooo much worse now that we are in debt up to our eyeballs!!
Look at the death of thousands (not 1000's) that ended a regime that used weapons of mass destruction to end the lives of tens of thousands of Iranian in the iran/iraq war. Then used them to end the lives of hundreds of thousands of Kurds.
Look at the human misery and suffering of the now free, self-governed Iraqi people no longer tortured en mass, killed en mass, no longer robbed of the blessings of their nations wealth by a murdering, torturing dictator that they loved enough to immediately put to death as soon as given the chance. Free to walk the streets, educate their children and engage in commerce as they deem fit. Perhaps there is some way we could find to make it all as it was. I'm sure you think they would appreciate that.
Bush 43 is the best president this country has had since....Ike? If a lifetime of studying history has brought you to these conclusions, like most journalists and teachers in America today, you have chosen the wrong line of work. I'm sorry you have wasted so much of your life getting so much so obviously wrong. Try different sources of information, and listening with a more critical ear.
P.S. better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you are a fool, than to open it and remove all doubt.
Palin - Female W. Bush
The American people voted for a man who had difficulty constructing a logical sentence. And yet Sarah with a very similiar set of Bush characteristics is loved by millions. Truly amazing!!! She may even be more shallow than Bush.
Anyone who maintains that the Bush Presidency was not reprehensible and dismal has been living in a cave. Look at the economy, look at the deaths of 1,000s: Look at the costs in human misery and suffering that the Iraqi war has brought to the Iraqi people. Look at torture: Look at the outrageous lies and corruption: As a lifetime student of U.S. History, Bush 43 is the worst most dismal U.S. President of all U.S. Presidents ever.
And there are those who support a similiar if not worse person as President. Astonishing indeed!

Palin will not fade
Don't count out Sarah Palin. I am a liberal Democrat and would never vote for her, but she is not going to go away. The wink she gave the national audience in her big speech - debate with Biden - showed that she has a certain something. She will learn from her mistakes.
Gov. Palin
As far as I know, Gov. Palin hasn't expressed any interest in a Senate seat, where a person has to have 30+ yrs. of senority to have any clout.
I am fairly sure that a poll can be commissioned to show whatever results the client desires.
Palin and Victim-hood
She sure is crying "victim" now!!!!!!
Polls/ Palin
Wow. Does this mean that conservative polls can be adjusted as well? Golly gee. Without knowing the methodology and sample pool, there is no valid reason to refer to results of any polls.
Palin, the governor of a large national park, showed her colors quite loudly, and anyone who supports her is either not paying attention or is prejudice and/or elitist. “Real Americans”????? As opposed to whom? Fake Americans??? Sarah Palin’s support comes from a small, white and generally rural population of European ancestry… mostly Protestant. I know many, many women who are strong, intelligent, pro-life, God loving and very mainstream that do not support Ms Sarah. Please, do not suggest that only Palin supporters support life, their families, their church and apple pie. She instigated mob anger through polarizing inaccurate chants. Her ambition is dangerous to our nation. She is a woman of low character. To a “real American”, someone who accepts and embraces the ideals that founded this nation (freedom and equality for all, separation of church and state, freedom of religion), that should be enough.
Palin
Sarah Palin has created her own problems. It's amazing how many people come out in defense of her. If she's so responsible, why would she was she willing to take so much time away from a son who clearly needs her to be Vice President of this country? In any case, I have no problem with her as a woman - I just don't believe that she should have been Vice President (or possibly President for that matter). She has always played on the fact that she is a woman and that is why people are so critical of her. If anyone should be upset at how the media treats them, it's Hillary Clinton, who has been slammed by the media at every turn. The bottom line is that she and McCain lost the election and they should just move on. If Alaskans don't want her as their Senator, then that's their choice.
Palin leaves natives to starve and freeze whilst 'anonymous bloggers' bring aid to the village of Emmonak
A Cry for Help from Rural Alaska. Is Anyone Listening?
14 01 2009
Four days ago, a cry for help went out via the Bristol Bay Times. Many of us have known that residents of Alaska’s rural villages are having a hard winter. The weather has been unusually cold, and prices of heating oil and gasoline have been astronomical. Add to that a disastrous collapsing salmon fishery in Bristol Bay that left residents in that area heading in to winter with less than usual, and you have the makings for a humanitarian disaster.
...
So, what is the State of Alaska doing to help its citizens as they face these conditions of scarcity that are beyond what many of us can imagine? The answer is, nothing. According to Mr. Tucker the lack of heating oil and food and the resulting threat to life did not count as an emergency to the State of Alaska.
A question. Where is our Governor? What are her priorities? I have heard her concerns about anonymous bloggers, about media coverage, about the legislature, and the gas line. I have seen press releases come out saying “There you go again” to the Anchorage Daily News. I haves seen lots of time and energy focused on how Sarah Palin feels mistreated by the media. But I have not heard one, single, solitary word about Emmonak. I have seen no press releases about what my state’s government is doing to help its people in harm’s way. I have heard big talk about a Rural Subcabinet headed up by our Attorney General, Talis Colberg, and I’ve heard that they’re busy evaluating.
Colberg stated that so far the subcabinet has been in preliminary meetings to look at programs that are already in place and discussing how to gather information, what topics should be focused on, how the group will be structured and what support they could rely on. The group has no fixed meeting time and the date of their next meeting is unknown.
So, if our governor can’t seem to get her eyes off the mirror, and her head out of 2012, and if the State of Alaska doesn’t consider this an “emergency”, then what is to be done?
The answer lies, where many answers lie, with us.

This article was posted on an Alaskan blog yesterday afternoon by one of those 'anonymous bloggers' that Ms. Palin whines about. By late that same evening, 'anonymous bloggers' had raised enough money to send a representative to investigate as well as established the beginnings of a healthy fund to aid the Native Alaskan village of Emmonak. The blog has a paypal account set up or you can contact the village direct here:
City of Emmonak, (907) 949-1227/1249 (They will take donations by credit card. Please specify the donation is for heating oil!)
Emmonak Tribal Council, (907) 949-1720
