Shame on you! Everyone has different opinions. Freedom of speech. Since You have spent your life fighting for racial parity, then you should know that the term you used about kool-aid and the Obamas was very racist. If you do like the Obamas, that is your right. However, it is people like you in this country that will keep racism, bigotry, hate alive. I was raised with phrase "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything!" If you cant or wont help, don't hurt!
There are some people in this country that are praying for the failure of the Obama presidency, like you. You have given all the white men a chance, why not Obama? Sit back and be quiet or do something to help him get this country out of the hole it is in!
Lest We Forget, Michelle Obama is a Human Being
The thing people are forgetting is that the Obamas are human beings. they had a life and a family long before the presidency, and they are doing what they think will work best for them. Obviously, they love each other and their children, and have decided to do what is best for the kids right now.
Clearly, a woman as accomplished as Mrs. Obama will probably not be happy to be a SAHM forever, but she's thinking about what's in the best interest of her family right now. If Sasha and Malia were your nieces or grandchildren, would you fault their mother for wanting to do right by them? I highly doubt it.
And lastly, I don't see what any of this has to do with race over gender. But maybe that's because I see them as people first.

A TRUE LIBERATED WOMAN!
Michelle Obama is a new kind of woman. She is secure in the way that feminists have not been - secure enough to be a mom first and a career woman second. Too many women have been bullied into returning to the work force by other(usually)women who put down the role of motherhood and allow themselves to be defined in monetary terms by the corporate world. Michelle and Barack Obama both realize, and have stated publically, that being parents is the most important work. It is obvious that their hearts belong to each other and to their beautiful family.
Right now we need the brilliance of Sasha and Malia's father to get us out of the hole we are in economically and in our foreign affairs. Like Michelle,I'm sure he would also rather be with his young family as much as he could; however, he has the intellectual gifts and leadership style this nation can no longer do without. We should be grateful that this remarkable family is willing to sacrifice and serve. God bless them.

This is such and nasty little column so I'm gonna write a nasty little comment to match. Michelle is fabulous, tall, elegant , highly educated, married to the president elect who, has 2 gorgeous daughters, and wears fashionable clothes that show off her body. Oh, and unlike your St. Hillary, Michelle is adored by her husband, not tolerated until the next intern comes along. And you? Well, you have a mullet and wear shoulder pads. If I were you, I'd be writing bitter little blog posts too.
Oh, and Hillary lost and is still in debt. Not cause she's a woman, but because she couldn't manage her campaign. Get over it.
