McCain

I hear all this garbage about the polls - who is winning, who is out. I am so sick of having to listen to the media tell me who is going to win the election - wait a minute - I haven't even voted yet - has everyone else? Did I miss the election? And who are these people that are in the polls? Too easy to mislead the public, having polls of a select small group of people, representing the entire United States! Non of them represent me! I think all this media snowjob should be done away with, and let US decide who is to be president!

Landslide 2

Are we surprised there are issues when the bosses above McCain picked Palin as a way to slap the Dems in the face after Obama didn't pick a FEMALE running mate? Don't lie- we could all SMELL what they were cookin'. It wasn't Texas Brew- it was an attempt at the votes they thought were lost and up for grabs. It was a terrible and messy move by the GOP...This written by a conservative who gave that party too many votes in the. past. Here's to an individual- not a party . Here's to Obama.

Landslide

Here's to the slam dunk. My heels are on and for the other team. GoBama.

The real story

Come on, people. McCain/Palin are on a sinking ship.

The deal breaker for me: I reject any scenario where Palin might end up as President of the United States (shudder).

Why isn't McCain talking about HIS plan? Why isn't McCain talking about his vision for this country? He is a mealy-mouthed, eye-blinking, elitist who doesn't know how many homes he owns and can only attack his opponent instead of talking about his plan. He must have a problem determining which of his 13 cars to drive. Look at him and his wife. They basically lead separate lives, he treats her dismissively. Do we want a a first lady who has been caught stealing drugs from her own foundation (by her own admission????).

Excuse me, but these are the facts and they mean something. They tell us about peoples' character. Look at the body language. I want a sea change. I want all the Republican "old guard" moving out of DC and the good guys moving in to key posts to get this country back on track.

How can Republicans call themselves "conservative" when they have squandered a surplus from eight years ago and got us into the biggest debt that our children and grandchildren will be paying off to China for generations. This is not fiscal conservatism.

How can they call themselves "pro-life" when they have enmeshed us in a horrific war where people are losing their lives every day. What about our young men and women that are returning home with brain injuries, post traumatic stress syndrome, missing arms and legs to the spouses and children that will suffer the repercussions for generations to come?

What about "family values"? What value do you have when you dump your first wife while she is recuperating in the hospital. Hello???!!!!???? McCain called his current wife the basest expletive (I cannot repeat it here) in the most insulting way in public. He is nasty. He can't control his temper. We want this individual with his hand on nuclear weapons? I CERTAINLY do not!

When Obama is overwhelming voted into office by a landslide please know that people in this country have HAD ENOUGH!!!! We've had ENOUGH, and we won't be silent.

We have some sacrifice and hard work ahead and WE ARE READY!!!

Socialists? Welcome Paulsen, Bush, and McCain

I am always amazed that Obama is portrayed as pushing

socialism (state control of goods and services)--

especially after Henry Paulson, Republican, Secretary of

the Treasury, developed the massive plan for taxpayers to become

owners of banking institutions to the tune of over $850 billion

dollars now. Wow, who knew that Bush, McCain, and Paulson

could be such good socialists?

McCain campaign

For John McCain to have chose Sarah Palin in the first place by thinking he had to appeal to the conservative portion of the Republican base is ridiculous - did he think those people were ever going to vote for Obama?

McCain

Apparently now cutting taxes for 90% of Americans, and raising the taxes on $250,000 a year people to what it was during the Clinton administrat , you know the GOOD ECONOMY years, can be called Socialism, Communism, or Marxism.

It's capitalism to use tax money (or borrowed from China money)to buy banks and to save business from market forces and poor decision making, if not downright fraud.

Is it OPPOSITE DAY!!

voted for Obama today

I voted early today along with a long line of other very enthusiatic Obama suporters......What a great feeling

Palin Around with Confusion

"Sarah WAS Sarah. That's the problem. She, as a would-be church girl willing to run with a pair of beer dealers, was a phony from the getgo. And snarky beyond measure."

Well said. But those of us who have been trying to dig up the unfettered truth about her have known this all along. What Sarah Palin is about is first and foremost Sarah Palin. She is pure unbridled ambition, not for the good of the country or even the good of Alaska. for the good of Sarah Palin. The Barracuda nickname she got in high school wasn't just for being a good basketball player. It was for being, even at that time, uncompromising in her drive to climb to the top no matter what it took to get there.

This is Machiavellianism at its most brutal.

Evil MCain campaign

Thank God someone has the guts to say these things out loud. I've never heard so much backstabbing and just plain lying in any election until this election. John McCain and Sarah Palin went straight for Senator Obama's throat. They should be sued for slander. They are horrible role models for the future of America. They can never undo or take back the character assassination they did on Senator Obama. Senator Obama deserves a landslide victory.
