The Obama-McCain X Factor—Racism—Means a Long Election Night Awaits

The Unfortunate Racism which still exists in Politics

People try so desperately to disgard the fact that racism in this country is alive and kicking. This is especially true in this current race for the presidency. I have never heard so many whites express their version of Barack Obama. Much of their

opinion are based on their efforts to maintain this country as a white laced society where the white man is at the helm of any high powered position. This is also stemmed from fear of change. There are those who just cannot perceive a black man in the highest position of the United States. We've tried the matured white male as president many times over with usually the same results. CHANGE IS NECCESARY

Black or white? Don't vote by color.

How about if:

We vote for QUALIFIED candidates, no matter WHAT their color?

It is STUPID to vote for McCain because he is white.

It is STUPID to vote AGAINST McCain because he is white.

It is STUPID to vote for Obama because he is black.

It is STUPID to vote AGAINST Obama because he is black.

'nuff said?

UNDECIDED voters could be racist

No, Erasmus of CA, it's not the Democrats who may be racist, it's the so-called "undecideds" who might actually be privately for McCain. If 50% of the undecideds are privately against Obama because he's Black, and they vote for McCain on Nov. 4, then that means we truly don't know what McCain's poll numbers are right now. I'm not resting easy looking at Obama's poll numbers in ANY of the so-called "swing states" especially if they've been reliably red all these years. I think Obama has his work cut out for him, no matter how big the lead appears right now.

Time for Change

Well this is not Ronald Reagan that Barack Obama is going against. McCain can not draw people together like Reagan did back in the 80's. People are tired of seeing the same old policies that we are facing today and I agree with them. On an issue of who can handle our financial crisis, Barack Obama wins hands down. Look at how much he has evolved into a responsible, charismatic person over the last 20 months. Everytime he is attacked, he don't let it get to him, he just brush it off. When you all are going to the polls, remember that this is the 21st century. We need new ideas, a new direction, and a new kind of leader and that is what Barack Obama has been the whole time.

Its about fairness NOT race.

The fact is the Republicans haven't won the general election since 1988, on the coattails of Reagan. Reagan was a charismatic leader with fresh ideas at his time. Current Republicans just try to copy him and steal his image. But that's not fresh, its used up and doesn't fit with current times. Now, Obama is the new leadership this country needs. There is little doubt the general election will support him. The question is whether the other side can be kept from cheating again to steal the election by using the electorate, chads, Florida, or whatever else they can make up to steal the election from the true popular vote.

Obama

I believe Obama would be best. He has the intelligence to deal with any problem that arise. He is concerned about the middle class. I believe Mccain is more dishonest in his campain then Obama. If you want the same world war 2 thinking then vote Mccain. I am tired of the same old ways of solving problems. Obama will listen to experts and has the support of many very respected citizens.

silent majority

The silent majority should be so eager to line up for active service in the wars that will be the focus of a McCain Presidency. How can any sane person vote for McCain/Palin!

above

wow...very creepy. That is exactly why McCain won't be presidnt, because only the weirdos like above are voting for him.

This is so lame

Lady, you are full of it! Obama is the race card player in this election, and the connections that are woven into his past are replete with racist characters, i.e. the racist Reverend Wright and other Jew-haters.

Frankly, I could care less if he was a 1/2 green Martian-American. He still sucks!

Great post!!! (don't count your chickens)!!!!!

What a great post "don't count your chickens" is!! I couldn't have said it any better myself! It's totally shocking and mind boggling how these left wing loons get sucked in so easily by the main stream media. Shame on them. Did anyone of them even stop for a minute to use more than 1 brain cell in their heads? What are we getting with Obama??? NOT ONE GOOD QUALITY!!! I would love for a liberal to come up with 1 real reason he should be president! But liberals can't because they ignore facts and reality and speak their emotions!!!

He has no executive experience!!!!

He's tied to terror, (foreign and domestic)!!

He's deeply tied to ACORN for years!!

He won't disclose where his donations come from!!

His reverand hates white people and america!!!

His wife is not proud of her country and wrote a

paranoid piece in college that she felt the

white people on campus were out to get her!!

He was raised as a Muslum when he was a child and denies it!!

He wants to redistribute income, like a socialist!!

He wants to socialize medicine!!!

He wants to surrender to our enemies!!!

And on and on and on!!!!

HE'S EVERYTHING AMERICA HAS BEEN FIGHTING AGAINST

FOR OVER 200 YEARS!!!!!

NAME ONE GOOD QUALITY HE HAS!!!!!

HE'S INSPIRATIONAL?????

THIS IS WHAT YOU LIBS CALL AN INSPIRATIONAL PERSON???

SUCH IGNORANCE!!!!!

THE SILENT MAJORITY WILL SPEAK ON 11/4!!!
