McCain and Palin

Hello, "Is it a crime for someone to have manners and to be polite. No!! Washington DC politicians are very rude and stuff shirts. I am voting for John McCain and Sarah Palin, They are a refreshing polite couple and I am proud to have them in this great country A war verteran who served our country deserves to be the president And I so hope by the grace of God they become president and vice president. Sarah Palin, I hope does not pay attention to the stuff shirts for she is a polite and good person who deserves the best This is exactly the change we need in Washington and those that say otherwise are jealous of them and scared that they would do better then them. And they are right they would do their best and better then them. They have the support of my whole family.

Sarah Palin would make a fine VP with John McCain. They will have my vote in November.

Sarah Palin

If she has an 80% approval rating, what does that actually mean?

How many people voted? How many Alaska voters COULD have voted vs. DID vote? She governs a large state with a prorationally low population in relation to its land mass. Why has her firing scandal suddenly dropped from the radar? Would love to hear her views regarding the ACLU!

Her ability to speak in sound bites, but not follow through with a depth of understanding, her cute mannerisms - fiberfill for informed answers - her almost reactionary views on religion, the environment and global interactions, all confirm what most informed Americans know... she isn't lipstick. She's lip GLOSS.

note: McCain should have chosen Chuck Hagel as his running mate. There's a man with a font of readily available knowledge (and history)!

Palin makes Joe walk the plank

There is nothing embarrassing about Sarah. She is refreshing, a true energizer. She pins Joe down with his own words and tickles him at the same time, with him essentially crying uncle. It was clear she had won Joe over.

Hurricane Sarah

Hurricane Katrina, the greatest natural disaster to hit American Soil, shattered lives when it decimated the Gulf Coast. That was August 29, 2005. I find it interesting that Mc Cain introduced a potential GLOBAL disaster on August 29, 2008- in the form of Sarah Palin. Katrina was not avoidable, but the Palin in office IS!

Sarah Palin leaves country in shock & awe

I can't wait to watch the newsflash that McCain & Palin have taken the Whitehouse. Yes, for all the hatred and venom spewed against her - she will be our next Vice President. You see when God says "Vengence is Mine" I believe it. He protects his own. Isn't that what happened in the Gore-Bush election? You bet ya!!

my opinion may not count / definately no journalist either

I am 45 years old and continuing my education. I have over a 100 college credits; But I want to walk down the isle wth a bachelors degree not a husband for once. I also wish to set a good example for my grandchild by achieving this. I almost earned an associates degree in science while his mother was in diapers. I am now on disability and even my husband of almost 4 years can't even get a job with out a GED or a drivers lisence.

The point is I hate the goverment's "charity" for all my years of work and school and I am willing to risk it all to be a tax paying citizen again!!! By the way, I am also a felon because I didn't have a good lawyer (like most poor people) and I can't even vote anymore until I get those charges "expunged",; Yes, I do know law now and the goverment can never take away one right I earn as an American Citizen...My education and knowledge.

They spoke about educating illegal immigrants but, have you ever thought about the fact that we are ALL illegal immigrants...The American Indian are the only true natives to this country (excluding Adam and Eve).I still have freedom of religion, maybe if we openned a bible once and awhile we would realize that even our dollar bill clearly states IN GOD WE TRUST.Let "American's" think this over when they gave us freedom of religion...I am free...JANET SLOVIC ROBBINS

Palin

If you can see nothing wrong with a young man with little experience attempting to be the leader of our country, how can you belittle a young woman attempting to be the second in command?

He has no executive experience. She has been a mayor and a governor. Both positions require the ability to juggle a budget and to convince people from both sides of the isle to work together. Obama has never done that.

She hunts in a state where hunting is an expected activity. The media make a big thing about this probably because they fear guns and don’t understand anyone who doesn’t fear them.

She has stronger conservative credentials than McCain. They are both more conservative than Obama. So what!

Neither McCain nor Obama are perfect. It comes down to who to vote against. And currently my vote is against Obama.

At least Paris would know

An insightful commentor said below, "I know many people like Sarah Palin and she is likeable, but let's face it, Paris Hilton or Brittany Spears are about as qualified as she to run the country!"

The scary difference is that Paris or Britney are aware that they are not fit to run this country. Palin seems to believe that she could.

Palin -- shame on you

What can I say -- I am a big supporter of woman and also career woman ( I am one myself). As parents, we all have to be responsible to teach our kids moral values and at least know where our kids are and what they are doing? If she and America thinks it is OK to have kids when you are unmarried and just 17 -- that shows how morally responsible she is as a mom. "I am proud that I am going to be a grandparent" -- will she be proud if her daughter was pregnant when she was 14? What is there to be proud of? She has failed the responsibilty of being a mom -- which many average woman achieve successfully everyday. How can she be responsible for the country when she is not responsible for her own daughter? And if she has no clue where her daughter is, would she have a clue where Talibanis are? This is not a fashion contest, it is a leadership position. Please give me a break .. She is a shame to be in any public office.
