Obama Widens Lead as McCain's Poll Numbers Melt Down
Remember when Bullwinkle used to say to Rocky, "Watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat"? A rabbit is just what John McCain needs about now to reverse his slide in the polls.
The Rasmussen daily presidential tracking poll has him 5 points down: "The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Barack Obama attracting 50 percent of the vote while John McCain earns 45 percent. This is Obama's biggest lead since his convention bounce peaked with a 6-point advantage. In fact, on only two days since clinching the Democratic nomination in early June has Obama enjoyed a lead bigger than he has today." Gallup's daily tracking poll has Obama at 48 percent and McCain at 45 percent. McCain better hope he wins tonight's debate going away or helps bring Congress together to produce a bailout plan to everyone's liking (not likely) to get the numbers going back in his direction.

Be Careful What You Wish For...
When Barack Obama first announced he was running for President, I was thrilled that a black man could be the next President of the United States. My vote was decided. As a proud African American woman with a college degree and a working brain, I decided I needed to REALLY get to know my candidate much better so I could rally support for his/our cause. After much research over the last few months, I have realized that Barack Obama is not the man that I originally thought he was and that his interests are not necessarily in the best interest of we "middle class" people. His scarce voting record is not one that favors ordinary people and his elitist views would not better serve our interests. There are so many areas where he is lacking or just totally wrong for the average American. I urge everyone who is planning to vote for Obama to step back and open your mind and eyes and REALLY look closely at his record. Don't have the "follow the herd" mentality like I did. After checking him out, I felt really stupid that I was taken in by his fast talking rhetoric and his smooth lines. I think he would be much better qualified to be a used car salesman than the President of the US. Just a warning to those who choose not to do their research--BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR!

While I could like Barack Obama I cannot in clear conscience vote for someone who listened to Rev. Wright for 20 years condemn America by saying God D--- America...
I find it strange that people are still talking about one's Preacher with no blood relation to the candidate. The Vice-Presidential choice for the Republican ticket married an individual who had 7 years worth of political affiliation with and belonged to a political party who believes in separating from the Union if they do not get their way. In your personal life, when you are looking for advice, who do you or would you listen to more...Your Preacher or Your Spouse? Abe Lincoln must be rolling over in his grave.
Obama a reflection of tomorrow America
Obama a presidential hopeful reflects what America as the nation wants to be in the next 100 years to come.He incorporates dynamic ideas in terms of Economy as well as middle class growth than his opponent MCain whose wants us to leave and dwell on the historical past which doesn't necessarily have relevance today .
With Obama , who would see a lot of improved economy, wealth creation and inspiring future. People do not very much credit Obama with the ability and enabling expertise to keep America security safe.Let me clearly pin point this out, the question of America security is every Americans responsibility. It doesn't solely rely on one man ability or disability. After all, president is surrounded by men and women who are exceedingly exceptional in security issues than either Mcain or Bush. What Obama does not have in terms of the security issues will be complimented by his security advisory board so lets not worry, our men and women in law enforcement will never let America down.
The other thing about Obama, is he cuts across diverse spectrum of America. He represents the poor and have not well compared to Mcain who has spent the rest if his 72 years in Washington, rubbing shoulders with rich people.
Can Mcain, understand the piteous life of Americans who cannot afford health care, good schoold for their children, low income earning, and increasing difficult of many parents to afford to buy their homes. Mcain only asks where to board to night based on the number of the houses he owns.
Lets be serious Obama fit this Nation for such a time like this.
Hurray Obama
