Ms. Hastings must have lost her mind. I love Israel and the Jewish people. How much of her money has she recently given to strictly Jewish causes? Mine personally is in the thousands per year. Racists, huh? I don't see what the three: guns, anti-Semitism and racism have in common. So I love my 2nd Admendment. How does that make me hate other races or Jews? The problem with these people are that we gun owners know exactly how B. Hussain Obama feels towards guns and gun owners. We also know how he felt about the Born Alive Act, which he voted against. We know that Obama received more money from Fannie and Freddie 2nd only to one other Demoncrat senator and Obama has only been in office for about 3 years. We know that Obama is a Socialist/Marxist and doesn't trust people to do what best for themselves. Mr. Obama, stay the hell out of my life and out of my wallet. You didn't earn it and you d*&m will don't deserve it. Anyone reading your two books can see that the only racist around here is you. That's pretty common with the Demoncrats. They'll call someone names or try to put titles on them or try to accuse them of something and 99% of the time it's the Demoncrats who guilty of doing exactly what they are accusing you of doing. We see it over and over again. The Demoncrats were in charge for the last two years and things were 'gonna change'. Sure...they changed. Frannie and Freddie are now worth almost 90% less than they were two years ago...since the DEMONcrats put Franks in office. O'Reilly was right in calling him a liar and coward. The DEMONcrats are constantly going to 'change' everything and they constantly try to blame everything on anyone but them. It's absolutely disgusting that this is rampent in this part. But I digress. Obama call himself a Christian? How can one sit in a church that says 'God D*mn America, the government caused AIDS to kill the black man (side note: did they tell you who to sleap with too?), and the US of KKK and then call himself and his church 'Christian'. I don't think so. Also, how can Obama expect anyone to believe that he was a member of a church for 20 years but doesn't know that his preacher gives the type of sermons that he does? Either Obama slept through most of the services that he ever attend or he is a LIAR! Somehow he is qualified to be the President of the United States of America know all of the above. Obama, you are a waste of humanity and oxygen. I wouldn't vote for you if a gun were pointed at my head. But I guess with mine in hand, I don't have to worry about that.

I share the feelings of one comment above. I was appaled by Alcee's statement but the comments are beyond belief. The hate, the distortion, the ignorance! God help us if the above is a true sample of the voting public in the USA. IF it is then we deserve a POTUS like BHO. I blame the press for not vetting this guy. I don't know if they are just liberal and want "to believe" what they hear or if they they are just afraid to expose him because he is black (half black). The gaps in his history need to be exposed. His many associations with radical, socialist and Arabs needs to be known and further understood. There is too much not known about this guy and what is known is totally underwhelming. to JFK and LBJ. If you ask rich Jews or Jews who have seen oppression a lot worse in their homecountries, of course they do not see oppression. But ask Jewish people who are poor or even middle-class, ask brave Jewish boys and girls serving in the military and you will hear the correct answer. Blacks are also oppressed unofficially. Of course you are going to say that giving blacks harsher sentences or charging them with more serious crimes is justified because they are more likely to committ crime. But the argument that racism is self-inflicted and that whites are somehow intellectually or morally superior to blacks using the statistics (regardless of the fact that it is white Americans who put them in bad schools and that led to poor education that led to poverty and POVERTY AND OPPRESSION RATHER THAN MORAL INFERIORITY LED TO CRIME) is same old argument used since civil war. Hispanics are also oppressed in America. Gays are oppressed in America. You can say that the are being "punished" for their "immoral conduct", but the fact is: GAYS ARE OPPRESSED. Yes there are a lot of people who are oppressed in America and for as long as the Right will rule and for as long as ruling Right will deny that there is oppression in America, there will be oppression.

If anybody watches the news you can clearly see that race is still an issue. If you don't see that then you either blind,deaf or dumb. Clearly if that isn't the case,then why do people see Obama to be a bad choice? He is fairly qualified to clean up the crap republicans have done to this country for the past 8 years. Don't let McCain risk your safety

To all you parents out there would you designate in your will a person who is unfit to be a parent to become the legal guardian of your children if God forbid something happened to you? Well, 72 year old, "Country First" John McCain has done just that by his disastrous pick of Sarah Palin as his VP. It is silly, really. And we might be able to let silly slide in peaceful times but with two wars, with Venezuela, Iran, and North Korea all aiming to go nuclear, with tensions with Russia over Georgia mounting again, and China racing to start its own Space Program all while the U.S. economy is crumbling at home, SILLY IS JUST PLAIN DANGEROUS! Republicans, independents, and democrats should all unite and demand a new VP pick from John McCain, just for our own security if he should get elected. Then we need to still recognize that John McCain sacrificed the safety and well-being of our country for a hopeful block of votes! This shows serious lack of judgement in this matter. I know many people like Sarah Palin and she is likeable, but let's face it, Paris Hilton or Brittany Spears are about as qualified as she to run the country! We have few allies left in this world and our competitiveness in the world is slipping. Americans sometimes take what we have for granted but we need to remember we aren't entitled to all the resources we have in this country, we need to compete globally for them. Wake up, John McCain put us at serious risk and this is not a president we want to run the country.
