Palin's Governing is Sound

I survived a gang rape 20 years ago...I volunteer at our local pregnancy center...I am involved with woman's health and pregnancy. I am pro-choice, (meaning I AM NOT PRO-ABORTION). Those who claim to be pro-choice are really pro-abortion since they do not clearly offer non-abortive options with the same gusto! So you know I have children, however I am also "post-abortive" from 20 years ago. The symptoms of the abortion, emotional, physical & spiritual I would NOT wish on any one. You think we are hormonal when we have our cycle or are pregnant? You haven't seen anything in the way of pain & turmoil till you have encountered a post-abortive person. Perhaps so many symptoms that require Rx and therapy could be eliminated if only we had the courage to look deeper at the root cause. Do not blame rape as an excuse to abort babies...the numbers do not support this.

Fetus in the greek means "little one"...they deserve & need to be protected by adults.

I admire Sarah Palin and would vote for her...if only she would run for office!

I am so tired of sarah palin's attempts at media coverage...during the campaign was difficult enough, and now at every opportunity, she is front and center...if only her politics were the same!!!

Governor Palin, is doing a pretty darn, good job ! The financial state of, Alaska, and her committment to her job is documented ! Forget the ignorant remarks about her lack of knowledge or experience...she is doing what she thinks is right, and good for the many, based on sound reaoning. If there is a question about action's or decision's, maybe, just maybe asking the, Governor for clarification...may avoid ignorant, and disrespectful remarks or accusation's. Governor Sarah Palin is a leader with obvious passion's for a stonger, America. The weak minded will always complain, resist common sense, and or what is right.

Ethics and Conduct, there are none !

Just a suggestion...I know this is going to sound outrageous, and definitely going out on a limb here, BUT... instead of politicians, and elected court officers, screwing or humping everything that walks...How about fidelity ? Fidelity to your spouse and family...and the people that elected you ? HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF, ETHICS AND PROPER CONDUCT ? NO ? I did not think so ! I know, I know... for politicians and judges, honesty and ethics is extremely rare, and sounds crazy ! Like the judges in the, 9th Circuit court of Orlando, Florida, ELECTED OFFICIALS with an office of public trust and upholding what is right, or ( doing as they damn well please ) ! I wont mention names, Komanski , and a chief judge...but, Check out and see how many are sexual predators...busted for using thier county elected office, computer( electronic media ) for porn, on county/paid time. Or a married judge getting his subordinates, ( half his age) pregnant. Between so many politicians and judges...you would think that the word, " position " meant something other than, sex ! What an example we have to follow !!! Crooked, dishonest, child molesting, porn abusers, and adulter's do not have any business representing anyone in any capacity. There is, NO EXCUSE WHAT-SO-EVER for elected officials trashing the trust and the integrity of any public office for any reason. These morons defer thier action's and claim they made mistakes...when in fact, THEY are the mistake ! From all level's of leadership, in any capacity...sorry - ass action's should not be tolerated... KICK THEM OUT NOW ! IGNORANCE, STUPIDITY, and GREED, ARE NOT AN EXCUSE, and or RIGHT-OF-WAY ! AMERICA WAKE UP ! WE DESERVE BETTER ! America, do you trust a judge or politicain that uses thier office for sexual gains and other dishonest, actions ? Talk about, RAPE...they are raping our children and our future. How about the entire populace of this country being raped by the, GREEDY bastards of Corporate, America and our politicians ? The crime rate, the over-all bleak picture, and the state of our nation, is a direct result of the trash that occopies so many seats of our elected offices...as well as thier good friends in CEO corporate America. This country is going to, Hell because of the thieve's, liar's, and total asses, that line thier pockets with blood money, from the military members dying oversea's to the poor in this country, to the million's that turn to, and commit crimes to survive. Filthy rich corporate, America, and our sorry-ass politicains continue to RAPE average, America...and we see no rape kits or relief in sight. A simple message regarding the scum-bags,( dogsh-t) in public office...ELECTIONS...VOTE THEM ALL OUT...START WITH A NEW, ACROSS THE BOARD TEAM OF LEADERS ! YES TO, " NEW " TERM LIMITS 2 YEARS ONLY. RAPE KIT POLICY

I agree that paying for your own rape kit is a surprising disheartening event. However, I think that all of the facts should be in before we call anything "outrageous". I am not sure of all the facts, but from what I do know of Sarah Palin's record in Alaska, I would bet that she had good reason.

For instance, Wasilla is a very small town. My question would be: what other expenditures did they cut or curtail in order to control the budget? This article make it appear that the town heartlessly cut only the rape kits. I will bet that this was one item among others in the budget that had to be cut. The budget probably just would not permit the expenditure without dire consequences.

Alaska, OUTRAGEOUSLY, is the only state that has no financial problems and no prospect of dire straits due to Gov. Palin's governing and financial prowess. Unlike vitually every other state in the Union, Alaska has enough excess reserves to carry them through two more years of recession without much concern. Compare that to California, Michigan, or my own state of Ohio!

I suggest that you get all the facts (and print them) before you single out an isolated item in order to create resentment. Belive me, if that's the way it's done, there's a list of scores of items that can be enumerated concerning Obama, Pelosi, etc., etc. I hope we rise above that.

Sarah Palin/ Rape Kit

Rape Kit - $1200.00. How much for the Crime Scene Investigation for a murder victim if he was the instigator; a robbery victim if he was rich; an abused child if he was naughty? Crime is a crime. The police system is supported by the people to, among other things, catch criminals and keep them away from potential victims, isn't it? I have a great deal of respect for Sarah Palin and her abilities, but she's human and prone to occasional bad judgment just like the rest of us.

I also think it's a "crime" to charge parolees for supervision. I'm sure they have a hard enough survival just trying to stay out of further trouble. That fee could just have to be covered by another crime because he/she bought food with what he/she had.

I guess no matter what the score, money is the name of the game.

I hope that it would be our police departments because rape is still a crime and these kits are needed to collect evidence, just common sense.

Sarah Palin/Rape kits

As a woman myself, I feel personally offended by Ms. Palin actions. No woman in the right mind and a half of a heart would avoid helping the other woman in such terrible crisis. What gets me most, Ms. Palin thinks nothing about her own daughter's behavior. The girl should be studying instead of making love at her age, while the mother should be paying more attention to what her children are doing instead shooting moose for fun. Being a mother is a serious job, not a fool's play.
