I probably would have voted for McCain had he Not taken on Palin.I didn"t like her from the very first time i saw her.Sure she"s a pretty women ,But-Beauty is only skin deep.I always go on my first impression of someone & I don"t have a good feeling about her.btw,I am a woman.
No vote for Palin
After deciding to my surprise that Clinton was the best candidate, I was considering voting for McCain. Until he chose a running mate who lies about her record, has no grasp of national issues, has a reputation for vendettas, has no understanding of foreign affairs, is a scientific ignoramus, and displays extraordinary arrogance in her high-school approach to answering serious questions ("I am ready!).
McCain is a known hot-head. We do not need two trigger-happy people in the White House who think they never do anything wrong.
National leadership requires careful evaluation of issues and the ability to gather a team who will provide honest, even if painful, advice. President Bush and Sarah Palin insist on surrounding themselves with Yes-Men. The country is going to face a whole series of enormously difficult problems in the next administration. We need leaders who can deal with those issues. McCain can't do that, and his choice of Palin proves it.

I have said it before, I will be voting for McCain after being a Democrat all my life. Why? because he chose Palin. I don't agree with her but she is a woman. Not good enough for folks out there? Not my problem. It is time women were given their place in our government. How can the majority of Americans, yes I mean the women of this country, be treated like second class citizen and people be ok with it? The still 'loyal' Democrats can say whatever they want but actions speak louder. Clinton was the most qualified and she gets told to stay in her place and not continue to challenge the great and wonderful Obama. And, I guess, now she waits for her chance in 2012 (dream on). Many have brought up the race issue. Sorry, but when 90% of blacks are voting for him that is racism. If 90% of whites were voting for the white candidate there would be an uproar. Racism goes two ways. Me, I'm as mixed as Obama but I am 100% woman and it is time we get the respect we deserve. Not a good enough reason? For me it is. Anyone out there who thinks Obama is going to do all he promises is in serious denial. The vast majority of politicians are not regular folks, Obama included. They are about for what is best for themselves. Change comes about when the common people do something about it and I am going to do my share, I am voting for women. We have many serious issues in our country but as far as I am concerned the most serious is finally giving women their right place in our government. The "Democratic" Party betrayed us again.

Why would any woman w/ any brains want to vote for Palin(bush in a skirt) who will not even answer questioning of herself and her staff in an investigation ,implicating herself of course would not do, to be caught in coruption before the election , my my ,she should have kept to Alaska where no one knew what she was all about, GREED, just another corupt politicain, McCain at least is not in it for the greed, he's just a loose cannon, and easily led by the powers that be, I use to admire him, but now seeing the huge change in him running for office, wow! In 2001 George Bush ignored warnings of pending strike by ossama bin laden until it happened and he shamelessly lied to use the opportunity for family rvenge. John McCain supported him all the way and what did we get- 4000 American deaths in Iraq and billions of dollars sunk for no good cause. Now McCain says he knows how to fight wars but knows little of modern technology.Please Admiral John McCain, we love peace not warmongering. Christ did not hit even his enemies. Today, He is the most powerful ever to live on earth.

3 Professional Women embarassed by Palin
As a professional woman working on a MA, and 2 daughters, one with a BA and one with MA, I just want to attest to the absolute embarrassment my daughters and I feel when we notice Gov Palin attempting to speak for all women. She doesn't speak for us. Certainly, the narrative the McCain camp constructed for Palin and presented at the Repub convention, left out "the rest of the story" including "troopergate," a pregnant teen daughter, requested earmarks, and numerous other tall tales. If McCain's vetting process on Palin is any indication of his judgement that we can expect on national security issues, then there is no way he should be allowed to be president. Bush, similarly determined that the scant intelligence he had regarding WMD's in Iraq was good enough to invade Iraq and we know how that turned out.

I also have a masters degree and I am hard working female who has gotten where I am from only my hard work and not the hand me downs of my family. I don't consider Palin to be working for the better of all. I think her decisions have been self motivated and money driven for her own agenda. This country is on very very shaky ground and it is because of leaders who are self motivated by their greed.
Please honor the future of our country and the children that will inherit it. Use your votes and your lifestyle to prepare a society, and a government that works for ALL the people and not just that of wealth. We must understand that the civilizations that work through greed do not succeed. We have a chance to change to unite and work together to have a health care system and an education system as well as a very stable financial wealth for our country.
This war has brought us Trillions of dollars in debt. While people like Palin and Bush are pocketing oil money. BLOOD MONEY!!! Change is the only answer!

Please spare me your verbage about Barack's lack of Small Business support. Have you actually spent time going over both candidates websites, downlowding their specific agendas on all issues and doing an actual FACTUAL comparison??? Start reading and comparing and know what you speak of first. I'm tired of all of the people out there who only get their news from minimal questionable sources (or just plain "God").If you honestly looked at all four candidates histories, both good and bad, and took the time to analyze how their platforms individually effect this WORLD then I don't know how people would vote for McCain at all. Their histories in that ticket speak for themselves. SCARY, SCARY candidates. Unstable, corportation friendly, manipulative, zealot like leadership. WOOHOO! Sounds like FUN!!!! Be glad you didn't get raped in the State of Alaska under Palin's rule there...do your research!
