Obama ?

The man is as phoney as a six dollar bill. But then again, if he is elected we may have six dollar bills. He is good at sugar coating everything so you cannot see the true man. He has never answered a direct question yet, such as what is he going to do about all the illeagles in this country that we the tax payers are supporting. They get free medical, and I have to pay over three thousand dollars every three months for my medical insurance and copays for prescriptions. I am retired, but still have to work a part time job just to survive. Some times I think of going to Mxico, then comming back here as a illeagle. To all you folks that think Obama is the answer, when he is (or if) elected and this country goes to hell, remember, I TOLD YOU SO! (I am not joking, I pay every three months $1287.60 insurance premimums, co-pay for prescriptions $675, $920 for Lantus shots, and 111.60 for part D prescription insurance. That is $3000 every three months).

Obamas plan for change

In Barack Obamas own words, the reason he went into politics was to better the life of the black people...that was his idea of change...so you guys might want to learn and read all you can and find out just where you actually stand. This very statement was made on CNN when they showed the segment on the lives of Obama and McCain.

Yeah, he's for those Americans, too.

"I don't think Obama is for all Americans - Millions of little Americans in the womb are killed every year for the sake of a hedonistic lifestyle and he thinks "choice" trumps their lives - So he's not for those. "

Actually, he's for them too. He did point out that all Americans agree that we want to reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies. Those aren't the words of someone who endorses abortion. Those are the words of someone who has a plan to handle the issue in a responsible manner, not with the fundamental absolute stupidity the right wing persistently shows on everything.

McCain Palin

As more people realize that Sarah Palin lied about the Bridge to Nowhere, lied about earmarks and brings no wisdom, experience or useful knowledge to the GOP ticket, her diamond celebrity will turn into a millstone hung around McCains's neck.

Integrity

I feel like the McCain-Palin crew are not in are in a room somewhere wondering if we believe their comments. I cannot believe the incredible lies...even Karl Rove who is the biggest liar stated that they are just pushing the bar on flat out lies. I hope for all our sakes America gets it. America cannot survive another four years of what the Bush Administration has savagely out upon this country...people we are broke! They cannot do this anymore. I think if the GALS on the VIEW are the ones confronting Senator McCain about his huge lie about the lipstick...Where is our country going as far as the media is concerned?

US Presidential election a real test for the public to chose

This election In USA is is real test how the public reads the real

issue that is at stake. It is not only the rhetoric and public debate who is doing the best among the candidate but in fact the country future is stake. And the responsibility is on the shoulder of the voters not to be carried away by lie. truth and stage show.

They must realize the All the issue s which is looming in the country who is the best candidate that can carry the burden of national and international responsibility with dedication, vision and sincerity for the overall good for the people.

President Palin

I think we need to be afraid. We need to be very afraid.

I am much more afraid of the idea that we will soon have Sarah Palin a heart beat away from the Presidency than I am of any immediate terrorist attack. Just the fact that she could very possibly soon be the President of the United States, a land I live in, vote in and am a concerned citizen of. It makes we wonder if perhaps we would all be safer someplace else.

She is Bush in high heels. Forget the lipstick.

If this country actually elects John McCain, a man who I used to respect, then I am afraid that I will lose all hope for our future. The world is truly turned upside down if the Republican Party can actually convince America that it stands for change, when they can enunciate no difference in their plan of attack from the previous administration.

Has anyone out there watched either version of "All the Kings Men" recently. Think about it.

What "Americans" are Republicans for?

I am always sadly amused to hear those who so vehemently claim to defend the right of the unborn to enter the world. Apparently these "rights" end at birth, inasmuch as these same demagogues have shown no interest in an infant's right to necessary health care as they do not support pre- and post-natal health care, they have shown no interest in a child's right to an appropriate education and training inasmuch as they tend to vote against any tax or levy that would go to strengthen our schools, and they apparently have absolutely no interest in the child's safety, as they tend to be the same folks who adamantly defend the right of any person, without regard to sanity or motive,to possess firearms, thus placing all of us at greater risk.

Schaefer of California, your comment regarding Obama's pastor and his condemnation of "the white race in general" seems to indicate that there is something wrong with this condemnation. While I do not agree with his choice of language, can we not all agree that the white race deserves rebuke for, among other things, the deception and subsequent attempted extermination of Native Americans, the acceptance and government regulation of slavery of Africans and the incarceration of Japanese-Americans? Signs posted in white-owned businesses in both the North and South that read, "No Blacks or Jews allowed"? Do these acts not deserve condemnation in your mind? Are these acts (not to mention "Jim Crow" laws, poll taxes and tests exclusively for non-whites for the purpose of suppressing minority vote, the Separate but Equal doctrine,Iran/Contra as well as our previous support of the Shah of Iran, Ghaddifi and Saddam Hussein along with many other dictators with the blood of millions of innocents on their hands) worthy of praise and pride in America?

In my view the truest support that any citizen can give their nation is to point out that nation's faults and weaknesses, as a first step toward rectification. The undue concern for Michelle Obama and her views are interesting in light of the fact that the alternative to her as First Lady is a drug addict. Of course, as we've already had at least one Republican drug-addicted First Lady (Betty Ford), what's one more?

Now, what "Americans" are Republicans for? They apparently are not for soldiers on active duty since they won't supply them with body armor and other necessary supplies to help insure their safety, thus causing individual families to have to bear the expense of purchasing and supplying these needed items to their loved ones. They are not for families of active service members, since they are witholding promised enlistment bonuses, forcing military families to borrow from payday lenders at usurious rates. They are not for service veterans, having denied them medical treatment to which they are justly entitled. They are against the elderly, attempting to do away with Medicare through privatization. So exactly what "Americans" are Republicans for?

Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin is a breath of fresh air to the political arena it would have been impossible for her to include every single thing in her acceptance speak what she did was try and present herself as the vice presidental running mate to John Mc Cain not the president to the republican party. She will tell you flat our as she has told the people of Alsaka she will stand up and fight for single-married mothers equal pay and education and health care and the enviorement. Give her a chance to speak she can not get it all in one speach.
