Sarah Palin: What's Sexist and What's Not Sexist?

NJ Patriot should explain to me how to vote

NJ Patriot, I didn't realize there were hundreds of concentration camps right here in our country! That's big news. I assume you're talking about jails and prisons until you clarify that they're for holding "citizens that oppose the government." By "oppose," do you mean "failure to pay taxes," because I know they'll lock us up quickly for that? Or do you mean "oppose" such as throwing a bomb at police station? I could see placing such a citizen under arrest for such an "opposition."

To be held indefinitely, you say? But that's illegal! What about miranda rights, the 5th amendment, and the right to be tried? What's that, you say the feds are going to scrap our Bill of Rights? Hmmm, I think that's why we have a Second Amendment in the first place! You are prepared, aren't you?

I Googled the concentration camps in America as you suggested, and it appears to be a valid accusation. But they've been around for awhile--longer than Bush's presidency--and they're not being used yet (to the best of my knowledge), but assuming martial law will be declared one day and a bunch of people are going to be rounded up and placed in them, who in the government will you depend on for your defense? Obama? Democrats in Congress? Your neighbors' letter-writing campaign? I got news for you: The Second Amendment was created for just this type of government rule.

So are you ready to fight and/or die for your opposition? I sure am, but I don't see any of those things happening. In fact, they gave that POS John Walker Lindh a civil trial! Heck, the SCOTUS just gave the right to civil trials to freakin' terrorists!

To date, I haven't heard of one American being held in Guantanamo Bay--the equivalent of what you're suggesting already exists here--although I can think of a few that should be there, like child molesters, sharia-law "proponents," gang members, and a few more.

I agree this is a serious issue, but to suggest that, because I support Palin for VP, I am so blinded by my support that I can't see or understand the erosion of my rights going on under my nose, can't be connected.

Ironically, I see the erosion of the Second Amendment an even greater threat than a half million mini-concentration camps in my own state! Why? Because no government stands a chance against an armed and determined populace.

But don't you worry: the Democrats want to save you from all the ills of life, so as long as they're in power we won't have our rights eroded, correct?

Palin McCain

What bout when McSame called Chelsea Clinton "ugly"? Isn't that sexist?

Palin is really pro-choice

Gov. Palin is pro-choice. Doubt me? Do you really think she would disagree with anything on this pro-choice webpage?

hypocrites

Funny how McCain's supporters weren't worried about sexism when he called his wife a cnt a few months ago.

NJ Patriot has "Issues, People, Issues"

Wow, HUNDREDS of concentration camps, right under our noses. And we're so caught up in Sarah Palin's gender to even notice all of these camps.

And why hasn't Bush starting throwing people in them? Why wait?

I suspect at some point you'll be restrained in a "facility", but it won't be a concentration camp.

women on women

Those females who are Palin's worst critics perhaps have profound transference reactions towards her, so that they are projecting all their frustrations, unfulfilled needs and even vitriolic envy onto her.

Issues, People, Issues!

Since it seems like we don't have enough foreclosed homes and laid off workers, let's vote for another 4 years of Bush. Who cares about the economy, Sarah Palin is a woman, a mother (so are millions of other women, but you don't see them on other presidential tickets)!

People, stop the emotional nonsense and focus on the issues. Go read Obama's detailed plan for our country for crying out loud.

What would you rather have? Cut taxes for those making over 5 million (=McCain/Bush/Palin) or cut taxes for those making under $250,000 (Obama/Clinton/Biden)?

And if that didn't scare you, think of this - remember John Ashcroft, Bush's attorney general? He's been building hundreds of CONCENTRATION CAMPS right here in the US for US citizens who oppose the government to be thrown in indefinitely, with a capacity to hold hundreds of thousands of citizens. Legislature has already been passed legalizing this, but no, Sarah Palin is more important news. Just google it, blind America.
