Respnse to Joe Kott

I added a comment to the previous blog pointing to this one so hopefully it may reduce the chance of quoting previous one without reading this one.

I think the original blog should be updated to point to this one to give a complete story.

Sarah Palin

The candidacy of a no-substance person like Sarah Palin just shows that the political process is nothing more than a beauty contest, and the GOP had to nominate a beauty contest winner to get anywhere.

mud and lies can't stop this woman

The odds of Sarah Palin having any influence on abortion in America are slim and none. The congress and the courts control that, not the president and certainly not the vice-president. But women across the country are seeing a strong, classy, working mother and they are seeing the opportunity for a woman to be elected to the White House. That will matter far more than the tired old abortion debate.

So my questions to Bonnie Erbe are:

1. Are you going to leave your repudiated-by-your-own-research blog (entitled "Sarah Palin Mingles With a Pro-Choice Crowd") on the US NEWS website for all to gape at (and in some cases to continue to quote) or are you going to act responsibly and remove it?

2. Have you learned anything about good journalistic practices, such as using your best efforts to confirm your suspicions before you suggesting to the world something that may be 100% wrong?

Just asking.

Sarah Palin's Pregnancy Plan for the Women of America

If you are pregnant or suspected of being pregnant, you will be required by law to visit a state approved medical facility for confirmation of your pregnancy.

If you are confirmed as being pregnant, the state approved medical facility will report your pregnancy to the appropriate government agency.

As a confirmed pregnant female, you will be placed on a pregnancy watch list to ensure you do not take any steps to alter your condition for any reason including, but not limited to, your own mental, emotional or physical health including your own death.

If it has been determined that you might attempt to alter your condition or suspected you have already begun any such attempt, you will be immediately incarcerated in a pregnancy prison until birth is achieved either naturally or surgically. If you should die during the pregnancy period, you will be kept as a natural incubator via medical machinery until birth can be accomplished by the State.

If it has been discovered that you have in any way possible caused the pregnancy to be ended, you will be charged with murder and, if found guilty, you will be executed.

Addendum:

If you have been raped and the rape has resulted in a pregnancy, you will be placed under 24 hour live-in counseling and surveillance through-out your pregnancy to deter any concept of ending a constant reminder of the violent sexual crime you suffered.

If you have been raped and the rape has resulted in a pregnancy and you are over the age of 7 and under the age of 13, you will be taken from your parents and placed in a State Approved Minor Victims of Rape Pregnancy facility. There you will remain until birth is achieved either naturally or surgically, where-upon you will be either returned to your parent’s custody or sent to a State approved foster home.

All citizens are encouraged to watch for signs of possible pregnancies and report the women to which the pregnancy is suspected to State and/or Federal Law Enforcement Agencies immediately.

Better late than never in being honest and getting the facts out. Turns out pictures DO lie.
