Liberals Blind to Obama Weaknesses

It's no secret that the liberal press is in the tank for Obama and continuously demonstrates it by their failure to report his shortcomings, his voting record, his liberal bias, and his indecisiveness. Furthermore, their ongoing and incessant attacks on Sarah Palin and her family has gone beyond good taste and common decency. Obama is arguably the weakest candidate to appear in many years and his unqualifications will very likely be his Waterloo. The Achilles heel of the liberal press is its distain of the American public by their belief that they blindly accept what they're told and that they don't pay attention. The loss in ratings by liberal TV and the plunge in subscribership by the liberal press should be a wakeup call. Perhaps a sound thrashing of their anointed one in the voting booths will be a wakeup call.

Obama's Candidacy

Obama is abyssmally short on practical experience, a theoretician, whose lack of substantive knowledge in every conceivable area makes him unfit to serve as a candidate for the Presidency of the United States. This is a man who as a state legislator simply chose to vote "present" 123 times and has been the champion of "Pork Barrel" politics as usual in his brief service as a U.S. Senator. His chief accomplishment as a Senator has been to run for an office for which he is singularly unqualified. Only those determined to have change for the sake of change will remain blind to the obvious truth that an Obama candidacy is nothing but political fluff. Obama does not have the wisdom or grit to be pitted against Russia's Putin or to deal with the "War on Terror". He is certainly no Colin Powell. I am a lifelong Democrat and I would not vote for Obama for for Animal Control Officer.

Put Obama's resume'and life experience against that of John McCain's. Only the politically ignorant or naive would come to the conclusion that Obama is equal to John McCain in any category.

Obama-NOT

McKinney is the only one I would consider voting for. I don't like Obama, never have and find him to be full of himself to the extreme. He represents the wannabe upper class of Blacks who think that light skinned is superior to others. Just look at how they rolled over McKinney- an AFRICAN-AMERICAN, not a hybrid who calls himself uniting then speaks to us like we need correction. He should start talking to Whites that way and see what happens. Oh, wait. They are in the majority so I guess the table crumbs are much more important than us. Had enough of the BS speeches that mean nothing. He should be coming out of an AFRICAN temple, not a Greek one. But, then again, what does Obama know about being descended from slaves. His mother is white and his father came from privelege. No, he certainly doesn't represent me or my family. We will be supporting Cynthia who doesn't have the need to doubletalk.

Even women have bought into Obama's view of themselves

Truth be told, Obama supporters are labeling Puma's with their own thoughts, which do not seem to go very deep.

Puma's know exactly what is wrong with Obama. Voter fraud got him in. Fraud in the DNC cemented it. Associations with various nasty people with lots of money bought him a ticket into politics and has carried him all the way to the Democratic Party's nominee.

Bill Ayers is silent. So is the Rev. Wright. Rappers have quieted down. Rezko was found guilty. ACORN has blown a fuse, but not before creating voter fraud and chaos on behalf of Obama. A few law suits are starting to be filed about documents of all sorts relating to Obama. One can only expect the Soros name to pop up next.

The candidate who promised to filibuster, then voted the opposite of what he said he would filibuster against, also said he wanted to do town hall meetings with John McCain. But then he didn't.

Now Obama says he welcomes a discussion with McCain on who is best fit to be Commander in Chief. Well, we will see if that happens, but don't really expect anything from it. Obama has trained people to not really expect him to do anything he says and it is working for him so far. People seem perfectly content to accept his words without any back up action.

PUMA are idiots

Good work PUMA. Vote McCain you sore losers and I hope you enjoy the next 4 years of Republican rule as much as this country's enjoyed the last 8. I hope you lose your home in the sub-prime crisis and you lose your job to an outsourcing company in Mexico through NAFTA. Only a complete fool would vote Republican after Cheney & Bush. You are a dickhead Paul!

Petulant little children abound

After reading some of the shrill screeds on internet message boards, I find it NO SURPRISE that this country finds itself in the dire straits that it does...and it’s WAKE UP TIME, People!

The hyperpartisanship that has characterized the Clinton years (Carville-ism), and swung the other way during the latter half of the Bush years (Rove-ism) has blinded a HUGE swath of the electorate on BOTH sides of the aisle to the issues that confront us ALL as a nation.

This formerly proud Republican feels like the Republican National Committee has sold him down the river, and many Democrats are also feeling disenfranchised by THEIR party leadership. (That leads me to conclude that BOTH parties need to clean house, and start over with leadership that REPRESENTS their membership, rather than running roughshod OVER them!)

If we take five minutes to consider the political macro-environment, we soon discover that people on BOTH sides of the aisle are mad as hell and don't want to take it any more!

Seems to me that EVERYONE is pissed off at someone somewhere!!! We as a nation CANNOT be divided against ourselves! Divided we fall, indeed!

People - we're ALL ON THE SAME TEAM!!!! We are ALL AMERICANS!!! The “politics of personal destruction” and the scorched earth policies that some believe have served so well in the last eight years of the 20th century and the first eight years of the 21st century NO LONGER serve us as a country well!

America needs to UNITE AGAIN, not pull apart into separate, warring camps without respect for the other party’s perspectives. There are PLENTY of other nations that are LAUGHING at us while we bicker like petulant little children, while making plans to TAKE US OVER without firing a shot. With unfettered “capitalism” guiding our decision-making for the last sixteen years, our human desire for greed and power have led this country to a short-sighted focus on profitability, WITHOUT regard to the long-term strategic ramifications of these policies. In the name of “shareholder value” my party has SOLD OUT the American people while eviscerating the American manufacturing base, all in the name of profits and executive payouts. Conversely, “the other team” sold us out by passing NAFTA and several other policies that effectively set the table for the current short-sighted, profit-whoring policies.

Regarding energy policy, since 1973 a litany of Presidents, Congresses and Senates have SAT ON THEIR HANDS, blissfully ignorant and in the back pocket of “Big Oil”, blithely turning a blind eye to the strategic ramifications of fuel sourcing strategies and its strategic impact upon our economic systems, productivity and environmental degradation. We as a nation have WASTED 35 YEARS of research and development opportunities to identify and commercialize DOMESTICALLY produced, renewable fuel sources that would BOLSTER the American manufacturing base, while giving us the opportunity to tell the petro-fascists in the Middle East to literally go pound sand because we don’t NEED their stinking oil!!!

It would appear that heads need to roll at BOTH party "leadership" headquarters, because they do not represent the will of their rank and file membership!

I know that I have returned EVERY single request for campaign funding from the RNC with NO money, and BIG complaints, written in BIG red marker letters.

I usually close it out with "Go get your funding from Bush's oil patch pals - they're the ones with ALL THE MONEY!!!"

If a formerly proud Republican like myself is 99% committed to voting for Obama this November because McCain is a cartoon character with no moral compass, no track record of success, no personal curiosity and no original ideas, and committed Democrats are going to vote for McCain out of SPITE that another Clinton didn't get the nomination, then down is up and up is down...and we as a nation are SCA-REWED!!!

I'll be honest - "Clinton fatigue" is a real malady, brought on by their insatiable desire for power and attention, no matter what the cost, and her incessantly shrill, REPETITIVE bleating of the SAME point, OVER and OVER again is JUST as nauseating and tiresome at McCain's incessant use of the phrase "My friends...."

Obama might not have a political track record that is as long as Clinton, and certainly not as long as McFossil, but I believe in his intellectual curiosity and well-thought out positions as being appropriate solutions to the troubles that have brewed and festered under the Clinton/Bush/McCain political environment.

I'm with Barack - he had me on his renewable energy platform, which is THE most pressing issue facing the American people today, followed CLOSELY by health care reform, which is currently characterized by several competing constituents fighting over responsibility for payment the same way that petulant little boys fight over a toy dump truck in a playground sandbox.

Obama's temperament and reasoning ability strike me as the most mature of the bunch, even though he's the youngest one of the bunch chronologically.

Final point: Obama's political career is not that long (especially compared to McCain's) but then again, NEITHER was Lincoln's...

PREDICTION FOR NOVEMBER

If presently 25% of registered Democrats are not voting for Obama at this point, I predict that it will be closer to 35-40% by November. And most of them will not just be staying home, they will be casting a ballot for McCain.
