Obama will win!!!

It should be clear, even to the unstable, religious zealots in this country that they share in the responsibility for our dismal economic and global standing by their unwavering support for the incompetent, irresponsible, semi-literate, chimpanzee of a George W. Bush. He couldn't do this much damage without the vapid voters who sold their souls two elections in a row. Too often I've heard insipid remarks like "Oh, I know he makes mistakes, but he's got Jesus in his heart". Good God...how stupid can people be?? Well, we've tried it your way - we've tried ignorant; now let's try smart for a while. Obama will have such overwhelming support from all those whose lives have been damanged by the Bush mafia that he will kick McCain's sorry ass come November. There is no way those of us who have any concern for our Country will let you nincompoops who still believe in the GOP foist another tin pot dicator onto the rest of us.

.. Rasmussen Reports is not quality polling, for a couple reasons. First it is generally Computer Responsive Automated Polling (C.R.A.P. for short), & more importantly it is rightwing biased.

.. If you link to it's website (rasmussenreports.com), you will notice a left side friendly link to JOIN mccain's team, with another link to the right showing a picture of a frantic black man waving his hands in the air, & when you click on that link you get an anti obama website 'Stop Him Now' along with 'Save America from the Radical Leftist' and this satyre of monopoly: "Go ahead laugh hysterically as Obama rolls the dice and flip-flops between issues! We hope this scary peek into the games he plays keeps you coming back for more!"

.. Rasmussen is a clever rightwing spindoctor, they've discarded bush as useless (tho they pegged him to beat al gore by 9 pts in 2000, the farthest off of pollsters), they pad favorite rightwing candidates subtley, just enough so their credibility doesn't suffer too much. Where a state is a dem lock they will not try to pad, but mainly in close states they do.

.. If you notice poll consensus', rasmussen will almost always be favoring the rightwing candidate, when compared to other polls; that is if pew or quinnipiac has obama with a 5 pt lead, rass might have it tied.

..I would disregard rasmussen down the stretch, as trying to sway voters to the right, by subtle spin & padding. Gallup is more reputable, & has obama with a 6 pt bounce on friday, likely to go higher by monday.

Don't Let Hurt Feelings Cloud Your Judgement

As an ardent Hillary booster, I too was disappointed when she didn't get the election, but don't let disappointment rob you of sense. John McCain is not Hillary's friend nor is he a friend to women. More importantly, he'll do exactly what Hillary doesn't want to see happen--he'll extend the war in Iraq, put off doing something about medical care for four more years, ignore the economy, the working poor, and continue on with no child left behind.

Were you supporting Hillary just because she was a woman? Did you hear one thing she said during the campaign? Hillary loves this country, and she wants what's best for the country. I think she would be best for the country, but since Hillary isn't an option--do what Hillary will do, vote for Obama.

Obama ready?

For Bill Clinton, a person elected to the Presidency from a governors position,to declare that Barak is ready to be President is a little baffling. By what measure? WE certainly can't use Bill as an example because though he had much more real leadership experience (as a governor) all that talent was squandered with young women kneeling before him. Maybe a beautiful family? No I don't think it flies. A community organizer?...what did he organize?-this might be like Jesse Jacksons hard work over the years-leading an extortionist coalition. Right about Iraq?-He was not. Right about the economy? I don't think so. Right about the bitter Bible carrying folk from PA. I don't think so. About Bill Ayers, or Resco, or Rev. Wright? What has he been right about? The 57 states where he spoke? What other territories does he plan to lead after becoming Pres.? It amazed me that he was transfixed on how many homes McCain has and the fact that he didn't know exactly the number.

And then to top it all off he really struck a blow for change when he asked Joe Biden to be his running mate. This is a guy who has been in Congress since just after the American revolution... One who may have aided in many having their homes forclosed on, and part of a Democratic Congress that has done absolutely nothing but bitch and complain.

Let the Empty Suit Hang

As a lifelong democrat I was astounded to watch the party dump the best candidate since JFK in favor of someone with an interesting biography but no resume. Obama didn't cause the sexist blizzard but he hardly hampered it. Nor did the "progressive" press. Nor did Dean or any of the Demo leaders who could have fixed the Michigan/Flordia debacle in an instant but knew that if they did so it would give Hillary the uppper hand. So why should a centerist vote for the Empty Suit when one can vote for a Republican that has shown moderation, intelligence and courage over a long career? I can think of no obvious reason. Seriously, who is closer to Hillary: the Suit or her long time friend John McCain?

Quayles no Jack Kennedy and Obama's No Hillary Clinton

Obama will sink or swim on the strength of his message. In this election, I will vote for the person I believe will be the best President, after considering all the pluses and minuses. I owe no-one an explaination. For those who would presume to judge the decision I make, why don't you worry about your vote and I'll worry about mine. We will know who America chooses in a few months.

McCain joke

That McCain joke is hilarious. He should do that more and rev up the right wing base!

ideas and policies vs candidate

If you voted for Hillary then there should not be any harsh feeling toward Obama. It's over. Barack's leadership and commander in chief showed when outwitted the most powerfull people in the Democratic party. They never knew what hit them. She took it too far when she knew she couldn't win. She knew it but the glory of attention by so many overpovered her reasoning. She hurt our canidate and she and her huband have much work to do. McBush called himself a maverick(please) and an underdog, Barack is an injured candidate. He wasn't injured by a Republican, je was injured by his own party.People say why isn't he futher ahead. He's black and he took a brutal beating by your Hillary. Don't you get the best man won. He is obviously strong as a commander in chief. He knows we can't fight our way to peace. He's brillant and he has great Democratic leaders to assist with foreign affairs. I'm worried about the future of this country and we just can't take four more years. There is a saying "hold your nose and vote issues",. He represents my values, morales, Christian values and his policies reflect that of a visionary thougtful and listener. And for you hypocritical Republican, he has one wife and a beautifil family. McBush history shoiuld be unacceptable to you. Leaving one wife for another woman while in his marriage. Remember McBush made the comment about Chelsea as a young child. She's so ugly her daddy was Janet Reno. You've spent all the money and have the audacity to support this maverick. Yes,Obama listens and encourage everyone come in the tent and let's discuss our country's need and he has the judgment to make the right decision. We need innovation as a keep characteristic of our candidate, surely you couldn't believe the man that barely use a cell phone in this complex and technological world. id you notice his quick response to the Georgia and Russia conflict. He threatened them and knew full well as they also knew we can't fight anyone. Obama about reconciliation yet knowing the time to use force. McBush is always force and casualities. McBush time has past. Vote for Obama.

I voted Hillary, but I wont vote for a woman hater

McCain could pick anyone as VP and I would support him over Obama after the way he acted towwards Bill and Hillary
