Clinton supporters should remember the other 18 million voters were Obama's. And, if he loses the race because of Hillary supporters voting for McCain. YOu best believe when 2012 comes around many of us 18 million will not forget. Hillary won't make it through the primaries again, never mind being the 2012 nominee.

Obama won the nomination fair and square. This race was HIllary's to win. For some reason, she did not. Yes, I agree that there was sexism directed toward her. Coming from the media and from her own male advisors ( this is becoming clear as we learn more about the interactions within the campaign) Is this the reason she lost, I don't know.

But, one thing that really pisses me off with Hillary's supporters, is they think she was entitled to this nomination. If so, she should have had a strategy that made it clear that she was the winner.

Barack had more delegates than Hillary, had the popular vote, and won 10 more contests than Hillary. So, you tell me that the nomination was given to him.

It's just that Hillary's supporters and their white privledge believe she was entitled to this nomination. Give me a break!

Roe v Wade & Other issues

In my lifetime, now a 55+ female, I have been pro-choice.I had friends in the 60's & 70's who had to travel many miles for the right of legal abortions & friends who survived illegal abortions. It was a horrible time for many women. If you, supposedly Clinton supporters, do not stop your anti-Obama attacks thus allowing McCain to be elected and Roe v Wade is overturned. . . I will hold you all responsible.

And re Georgia: seriously you use W's inane "appeaser" branding of Obama. . . do you really want someone who would rather find a peaceful & thoughtful solution rather than putting more (and there aren't any) troops into battle??? What is wrong with you?

I cannot believe I am reading your words!!!!???!!! Let's unite & END THE BUSH REIGN by taking the logical path. . . SUPPORT OBAMA.

Supporting a right wing candidate will help women? Really?

Right, and putting John McCain in office is the well thought out solution to help women and their issues?

Why such bitterness over losing the race? Hillary stoked the hatred and her followers are now following in her unreasonable footsteps.

I suppose when McCain kills any Roe v Wade protection with his Supreme Court nominees, women will be truly happy. Perhaps his hope to filibuster raising the minimum wage back when it was under debate helps out single mothers trying to make a place for themselves in this society. That is sure to help struggling women?

It is so immature to support McCain because Obama won. I wonder if these truly care about the direction of this country.

It's sad.

Hillary Don't Crumble on us, to stand and lie to us this weekend would only show you were beaten down and told to behave.

Hillary, don't take it laying down like a democratic whipping dog.

DO Not show up this week, call in sick. It's a silent shove it. they screwed you and us. Please show us your metal. It is up to you now to get this party on the right track, you can't do this by being a pawn. Flex your muscles and your brain. Do not cower to the crappy what the dnc has done this election, 2012 is possible but only if you don't cower now. Please Hillary make us 18 million supporters proud, we are not stupid people that want to be lied to.

Why would Hillary WANT to be VP?

Why SHOULD she play second fiddle to greenhorn Obama and give up her powerful Senate seat? I wouldn't be surprised if she refused any overtures from Obama. I'm GLAD she's not the VP choice, and I wish Biden hadn't accepted, either, because that's another Senate seat that will have to be filled. Because Obama will win, despite his religious pandering, flip-flopping, corrupt real estate dealings, race-baiting, grandmother-bashing, issue avoidance, fake public service creds and self-centered, arrogant elitism. Speaking truth to the propagandist OBAMA machine isn't whining, but regret that Hillary isn't VP is misdirected and unnecessary. Hillary will be fine and will continue to do her job. Bashing Hillary supporters in an attempt to get them to support Obama is also misdirected and unnecessary, "boomer" woman, Hillary supporters will do the right thing, unlike some of Obama's supporters who wouldn't have voted for Hillary if she were the nominee, and who couldn't be bothered to get off their "hopeful" keesters in the last two elections. We would have more to be "hopeful" about if they had. Don't expect us to pay for Obama's campaign, however, so maybe you should pony up my share, too.

If you want Clinton supporters to vote, don't talk down to us

To "One Boomer woman": You fit the Obama profile: You call on Republican rhetoric to dismiss the accomplishments of Hillary Clinton. How convenient.

Personally, I think Mrs. Clinton's supporters should split from the Democrats and start a new party. Why should we settle for an inexperienced mouth piece who talks the talk but fails to back his own rhetoric with action (contrary to what his supporters may think, he is no MLK). He isn’t a bad guy, he may even be a good guy, but his campaign has successfully divided the Democrats and alienated a group of people who might have voted for him had his campaign not tolerated or committed acts of overt sexism in the treatment of Mrs. Clinton. Instead, he cries "foul play" whenever someone challenges him (including Mrs. Clinton) and then he doesn't have the guts needed to stick to his guns on the tough issues (like his position on Iraq, off-shore drilling, and the use of nuclear energy). Well that's true to the Democrat tradition: All talk and no action.

Not a boomer or a "Y" but grew up in the 60’s watching war, the fight for civil rights and women's rights.

How can we ever be happy?

Knowing that the DNC manipulated all this for their own marketing purposes - everything new, fresh, different, and unbelievable. Bill was right when he said "pie in the sky" some months back. Everyone will wake up to that fact on Nov.4, unfortunately.

Looking forward to 2012, it's all we can do now.

I asked myself when the primaries first started one question. How does a person go from a community organizer to a presidential nominee in less than ten years?

I did a lot of my own research and this gave me many reasons to vote "against" Obama. I started by reading the Chicago Sun Times and read over 53 old articles. These let me know why Obama got the nick name: Mr Teflon because nothing seemed to stick. Well, this may be true but once I started to connect the dots, I got a picture that convinced me that Obama must not become president of the United States.

It was then that I became interested in Hillary and convinced that she should win the nomination. Well, thanks to the DNC this will not happen. There is no way I can vote for Obama. If I do not vote, this still would help Obama. Consequently, I must vote for McCain.
