Barack Obama Needs to Carefully Handle Hillary Clinton's Supporters

Unlike past elections my vote this election will not be going to any Democrat. The treatment of Sen.Clinton and her supporters by the D.N.C. was absurd. I hope Sen.McCain wins this election and all this falls into the laps of those responsible,Howard Dean,Donna Brazille,Speaker Pelosi, etc.

hillary clinton should run independent i belive she would win because i will go to my grave saying this was not a fair race not only that john edwards put his nose in time to mess her up now look where he is. obamas supporters have bee rude about hillary if she is not picked v.p.obama will not win this race and that is not fair to the americans go hillary.

Hillary at convention

I think Hillary willpromote herself and should be watched carefully about what she is going to say. Her supporters should not be allowed to have signs. The Clintons cannot be trusted. She lost. Accept it.

Former Hillary Supporter Is Steaming

I am a white female voter in my early 60's who was an enthusiastic HRC supporter. I volunteered, donated and voted for Senator Clinton with gusto. Fortunately, whether I like it or not, the primary rules were agreed to by everyone, and rules are not changed mid game. Senator Clinton did not win the primary regardless of what PUMA and Just Say No tries to assert. The recently released Atlantic HRC campaign memos reveals a campaign that was in disarray with sniping among members of her executive campaign team who couldn't make a decision for their lives. I am convinced those HRC supporters who are currently still out bad mouthing Obama and bad mouthing the DNC are Republicans in Democratic disguise. I understand PUMA's Darragh Murphy donated $500 to John McCain in 2000 so we see where her allegiance already was established eight years ago. Will Bowers asserts its all about the "democratic process" and "betrayal of issues." They can try to buttress their losing arguments anyway they want, but most of us former HRC supporters see them for what they are - disloyal trouble makers. I am convinced these pro HRC groups that are still hanging on to the vision of HRC as the nominee are simply mean-spirited losers out to do as much damage as they can without thinking of the consequences for this wonderful country. In my youth, I knew these individuals in another place and another time. They were the kids who lost at 4-square and when confronted took the ball home and cried. They are traitors, turncoats and, above all, sniveling losers who adore the meagre attention they are getting. It all boils down to being poor losers out to do as much damage as they can to Obama and HRC. For sure, with the damage they have done, sadly no one would ever consider HRC for any future presidential bid. They have done untold damage to a fine woman who showed considerably more grace and elegance than these very unhappy individuals. As much as I had hoped that HRC would be the VP pick, I can see why she is not thanks to PUMA and Just Say No. They have created havoc. As far as I am concerned, HRC's continued, unhappy supporters need to be shown the road to the RNC office where they belong. They deserve absolutely no special treatment by the DNC since they refused to get on the bus like the rest of us HRC supporters who fear the future of this country and its court in the hands of John McCain, a Bush clone.

The Success of the Suffragettes

Suffragettes picketed the 1920 Democratic Convention demanding the privilege of voting in that year's presidential election. They got it!

Thanks to the success of the suffragettes, women have voices and choices.

But most people are totally in the dark about HOW the suffragettes won.

Now readers can discover the sexy, shocking truth of how the suffragettes did it, and it's as easy as opening their e-mail.

"The Privilege of Voting" is a new e-mail series that follows eight great women from 1912 - 1920 to reveal ALL that happened to set the stage for women to win the vote.

Two beautiful and extremely powerful suffragettes -- Alice Paul and Emmeline Pankhurst are featured, along with Edith Wharton, Isadora Duncan, Alice Roosevelt and two gorgeous presidential mistresses.

There are a LOT of hot affairs, and tons of heartache on the rocky road to the ballot box.

Presented in a unique sequential e-mail series -- each exciting episode is about 10 minutes -- perfect for coffeebreaks, or anytime.

Pew has 5.4 million Hil's not supporting Obama?

I've heard there's a new Pew poll out, showing only about 70% of Hillary supporters backing Obama. That leaves about 30%.

18 million voted for Hillary. 30% of 18 million is 5.4 million.

The victory margin in the 2004 GE was 3 million.

Subtract 5.4 million from the Dem vote coming this Nov, AND add about half of that number to McCain's total. See what THAT does to McCain's margin.

Putting HIllary on as VP won't help overall, according to a late July poll from WP/ABC; they found it would repel as many voters as it would attract.

Read a history book

For those of you who ignorantly proclaim that Clinton "lost" YOU NEED TO GET OVER IT. There is no nominee until the convention, the Supers can change their mind at any point. Just because MSNBC falsely reports it like DEWEY DEFEATS TRUMAN does not make it true. And roll call is NOT something that is to be negotiated! This violation of democracy is unprecedented and will not be accepted by the voters. Even Howard Dean was in nomination in 2004 with 114 delegates! If they don't allow Clinton's delegates to have a fair vote, this party will be destroyed forever.

from a "typical white woman"

Just remember one thing, OBAMA was selected by the DNC, party officials, Dean, Pelosi, Ried. They did everything in their power to SELECT Obama. HILLARY CLINTON WAS ELECTED, Obama was SELECTED. NO votes for OBAMA from this Ohioan, and I will do everything in my power to sway friends, neighbors, co-workers to vote for the AMERICAN HERO, if HILLARY CLINTON IS NOT OUR NOMINEE. Remember what goes around comes around. This is about what is RIGHT FOR AMEIRCA, we don't need Obama, and the DNC demanding for us to "fall in line." To DNC, Obama, DEAN, PELOSI, RIED, take a long walk off a short pier, or whatever.....DOWN WITH THE DNC AND THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY AS IT STANDS TODAY. GO PUMA'S!!! LET IT RAIN McCain in November. CINDY WILL MAKE A BEAUTIFUL FIRST LADY TOO!!!

What?

If you really are grown up and over it, why would you hope for such things? That's awful and spiteful if you ask me! No matter who wins, I hope the country will go in a better direction.

Let Go and Move On !n Support of Your Party

Get over it and move ON, as most of us would have, if Hillary had won the nomination ! "Shame on you!!Stop acting like embittered/vitriolic women! I was for Hillary, i was for Hillary or Obama! Then I was for Obama ! But most important of all !! I WAS for whoever became the Democrstic Nominee!!! EXHALE and do the right thing !!!

Handling your catharsis should be done behind the closed doors of your counselor's office, not at the Democratic Convention !!

Shame on you Hillary for orchestrating and instigating something otherwise !!
