THE REPUBLICANS, IN WASHINGTON, HAVE SOLD THEIR OFFICES FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE. THEY TRIED TO EMULATE THE DEMOCRAT POLICY OF BUYING VOTES BY BECOMING LIBERAL WITH MY MONEY.THEY ARE DUMBER THAN I EVER THOUGHT AND THEY WILL NOT BE RE-ELECTED.
SOME ONE MADE A PRETTY GOOD CASE FOR RON PAUL TO TAKE THE NOMINATION AWAY FROM MC CAIN. I SUPPOSE IT COULD HAPPEN. PERHAPS THAT WOULD BE A GOOD SOLUTION.
Amusing comments
The fact is that the media wants a tight race, because tight races make them more money. If the Democrat was behind, they'd be pumping the Democrat. Its the money that matters, not the candidate nor the politics.
Tight races mean campaigns going in the hole and begging donors for more cash. Runaway races mean one side gives up while the other hangs onto its cash in the case of a last minute turnaround.
Ever since the regulations were changed to allow the marketing dept to have control over the newsroom, we've had close elections. And the reason is money. Dirty dirty money.
Drilling vs not drilling
There is something called a proposal, which you use to secure certain types of jobs, and convince people that you can do the work.
I personally have heard everything from 10 years to 2 years to see any benefits from drilling. Instead of constant critisism and bickering over this time issue, why doesn't someone just lay out the time table to the American people.
It boggles my mind that someone can't figure this premise out, if it can be figured.
Some examples of questions would be:
1)how long to secure a drilling permit
2)explain to the public how safe drilling actually is.
3)explain what the real deal is with all this preapproved land for drilling that nobody wants to use
4)do we really have all the drilling equipment to go forward with this, or has it all be loaned out
5) how much would the price of gas actually be
6) how long before we would see a saving in gas
I could go on and on, but either Obama or McCain should set up a task force to find out all the information available, then present it........ You would be suprized how convincing the true facts can be.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Media for McCain?
You have got to be kidding me that the media is carrying McCain's' water. Every journalist in the country was with Barry when he went to Europe. It was one big love fest and he got nothing out of it. No bounce. The race is even because people are starting to realize the Barry is an empty suit with no qualifications and no positions he is willing to fight for. He only has hope. Even the moderate Dems that helped him beat Hillary are having buyers remorse. One thing that is true is that McCain is not the best choice either but he is far and away a better choice than Barry.

It's truly amazing the comments people make on these kinds of sites. No one would ever say this stuff out loud. I wonder if folks really believe what they're ranting about, or they're ranting just because they can. Hope it's the latter, as I wouldn't like to think there was so much anger and hatred out there.

Barack Obama has changed his mind twice, and you call him a flip-flopper.
At this moment, you cannot tell me where John McCain stands on a single issue. I KNOW where Barack Obama stands, with the best interests of the people of the United States.
