After reading this post, I had to add my thoughts. The Obama babies WOULD not agree that he flip flopped because the press - and recent reports prove it - spend so much time telling us how wonderful he is. There is NO negative coverage on Obama. When he flip flops, he says that he's always said... and then he makes his 180 turn. Only if you spend time to review - and I hate to say - conservative sites and view the videos which support the conclusions made there - can you truly see how Obama changes with time and circumstance. The press did not even cover his gaffe about going to 57 states and working with international leaders for the next 8 - 10 years. HUH? He is given a pass - and when McCain makes a similar gaffe - it is the topic of every late night talk show monologue. I started out as a 40 year Democratic. The party has changed - Nancy and Harry terrify me. Obama was someone I truly wanted to support. The more I read about him, the less I am convinced. Those who want Obama because he represents a change can send me a blank check. You are too trusting. I promise not to spend too much of your money. Trust me. I'll bring about change in your life. Good for you, Bonnie for pointing out the elephant in the room.

I bet, Patty, that you fell for that e-video sent out to white people warning them of the dangers that if this country elects barack obama as our new commander-in-chief all the black people are going to rise up and attack us innocent, helpless white people. And since it was being said by a BLACK man... well, then that just makes it true, doesn't it??? Oooh, scary. Run for the hills white people! Allow all those years of watching black men arrested on the COPS program to sink into your rational thoughts turning them irrational. (By now you probably think the appearance of most black men's faces are truly blurry.) Same shiste that this current administration has been doing since 911... less than one year after the man was inaugurated. ...Which means fear has been their leading tool for almost the entirety of eight years!! Effective, no doubt.

Did you even READ his book, Dreams of My Father??? I'm willing to bet you did NOT. Why? Because I'm sure if he DID say those things about kikes and Israel then you've just taken them completely out of context. I'm even willing to bet he didn't even say them. You probably heard that he did and just assume what you heard was right. I have not read his book, but i have it and I'm going to read it now that you've made these statements. If I'm wrong and he presents himself as an antisemite (as you'd pain him to be) then I will be woman enough to write another comment admitting so.

Another reason that I don't believe you read the book is because people like you are RARELY open minded enough to do something like that. Have you watched the TV show 30 Days on FX??? It's a testament to the phenomenon that when people subject themselves to another's truth for a long enough period of time they inevitably change. They may not change all their opinions but they gain a deep understanding and appreciation for "the other side." People like you don't want to take the CHANCE they might see truth in another's viewpoint by doing something like reading a book. You wouldn't. Without even knowing you, I feel comfortable in making those statements. You run on emotion far more than logic. There's little place for rational in your world.

Just like the woman that professed that the Harry Potter books were evil... she never read the books. Just put her opinions out there to help scare people. It's easy to frighten people already scared. And in this country we live scared.

Perhaps you... and people as small minded as you that willfully refuse to wake up... SHOULD be scared of this man. He does hold a lot of power. He has a hell of a lot of ordinary people backing him... believing in him... hoping that we don't have to remain looking to each other and to the world as as hedonistic, foolish, and as uneducated as you sound. But not just hope... oh no, people are coming out in droves to PARTICIPATE! Voting registration has gone up dramatically! And the number of volunteers??? People are willing to work towards a better USA!! And this makes me proud. This is a great thing!

And then there are people like you railing against it. Sigh...

People like you and the person who commented above you cut, paste, and edit words to bring a whole new, deceitful, meaning to people like Obama's statements. For example, I just attended an Obama town hall meeting in Powder Springs, GA. The statement he made about religion's part in making The United States a better place was that he has always been in support of places of worship being used for faith based initiatives AS LONG AS THEY UPHOLD SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE. When the AP deleted the last part of that sentence in their article (which I'm paraphrasing, he used it embedded into the center of his statement) they changed the meaning of the entire statement. It's a devious ploy to send a deliberate message to a specified group of people (in this case his liberal left voters) that he is going to allow religion to permeate our government and our country... the underlying message? Danger! Are we looking at the beginnings to the next holocaust?? Again, it's all about fear... and the fear is based on trickery. This time I was there so I know what's true.

I often find it amazing that there are truly people out there selfish enough to try to sabotage healthy, GOOD change. Change that is PRO people! As Barack stated in Powder Springs: Just bcs taxes go up on wealthy people won't make them poor. They will remain wealthy as they did in the Clinton years. But allowing hard working middle class americans the chance to live comfortably a little easier??? That is PRO USA!!

He also made the point that he believes immigrants to this country should learn English. But just as he believes that he believes that ALL CHILDREN should be encouraged to be bilingual! That it's not a BAD, SCARY thing! That it actually makes us a stronger people! That we are more competitive in the world if we can communicate with a larger number of people. HE'S RIGHT! AND WE ALL KNOW HE'S RIGHT! Someone that is multi-lingual is seen as really smart! G*d forbid we encourage each other to do something that will put us in that light. Just because you and I passed up the opportunity to learn a second language when it would have been easier as a child doesn't mean we're entitled to the world catering to our ignorance. Yes, PRESS ONE FOR ENGLISH!! You won't strain a muscle, I promise!

obama flip flops and I voted for him in the primary. He must have thought that everyone voted for him because he was the "coolest" candidate. I voted for issues that he has now flip-flopped on. I think the DNC had something to do with this. I'll be voting for Ralph Nader. His positions don't change and if enacted would make us all the controllers of this country, not the flip-flopping politicians or the lobbyist's.

Me and my wife loosely supported Hillary Clinton. If she were the nominee, we would probably vote for her in the general election. However, Obama is an inexperienced snot, and I cannot vote for him. My wife and I will old our noses and vote for McCain. BTW, I have been a voter for 48 years, and voted for Kennedy and Johnson and Clinton, but also Reagan and Bush 43.

Obama is Jimmy Carter, Jr. Four more years of the Putz from Georgia's look-a-like will be the end of the United States.
