Obama and the Democrats Owe Hillary Clinton and Her Supporters a Formal Apology for the Campaign's Sexism

Hillary
I don't understand why the Democratic Party skewed the results of the primary aganst Hillary. It seems that we're no diiferent than Republicans. More people voted for Hillary. The people should decide.
Don't Ask Don't Tell
I am a happily married woman who firmly believes that the recent conversation on the above-mentioned topic was very biased for the most part. Many heterosexuals, male and female, are openly promiscuous and can be found in and out of the military. Is this used against them? Never! Also, comparing being disabled with "gayness" shows that the young panelist (don't remember her name) is ignorant and lacks vision. A person with a physical or mental handicap would not be able to serve in the military because he or she might not have the capabilities needed to participate in the rigorous nature of this job. On the other hand, being gay is not a handicap. Unless gay people have illnesses that prevent them from active participation, they should be given that choice and should not be discriminated against. Getting rid of the silly "Don't ask, Don't Tell" policy would create equity and lead to an influx of capable men and women who can become assets to this, our great country.
It's not over.
Of course we don't get that the battle is over, because it IS NOT OVER.

Sexism is obvious and repulsive
If Obama can't see the rampant misogyny that put him in this position and make Hillary the VP, then he is not as brilliant as Oprah thinks he is. I am reassured to recognize that we all seem to agree that Pelosi, Dean, the MSM, and the DNC all need fired tomorrow morning. To all of you who belittle the disenfranchisement of FL and MI, I have waited all of my life to vote for someone like me. I voted for Jesse Jackson twice. I have no problem with a black president. I will vote for Cynthia McKinney in November. She is black: she is green: she is like me and like me the democrats don't want her anymore. Do not forget ladies. For over 2 million of us are angry because Ms. Brazile looked us in the eye and told us we needed to be punished. Why isn't every American demanding these traitors be deported? Who cares about their constantly changing rules? Who cares whose supporters decided to end my suffrage? Why did Barack stand for disenfranchisement? Who cares where Michelle shops? Why did she let him go to that Nazi church for 20 years?
Democratic party take over by the comunnist Party
I am a life long democrat that has always voted for the lesser of 2 evils. The democratic party leadership no longer represents the hard working americans ( all races and ethnics groups) that traditionally has been the core of this party. It has been taken over by the liberal and yes, the communist, marxist, maoist group that has for years infiltrated this party, until achiving the control of the party. Obama is the poster child of this group and groomed and polished for years to run for president. He has used the race issue very well even though he is not a black man, but runs as one and has been able to get the following of the black community, with the help of those extrimist and leaders from the civil rights era which some were part of the communist party, and today hide under the black issues to expand their marxist agenda in the schools and young generation. Obama has a large and world wide fund raising system that is funneling money into his campaign, not from small american donors, but from enemies of this country( Chaves, Castro,International communist movements and opec, mugabe,Kenya oppositon party, Sirya, Iran and many more..) funnel into the US and channel to those small donors into is campaign, to make legal and look that there are no improprieties. The bottom line is that the traditional democrat can not vote for Obama, not because he is black or white, but rather, because of his ideas and ideology. The americans have been fighting communism and marxism for ever to allow one of them to become our president. That is the reason I am not voting for Barack Hussein Obama. I trust that the Democratic party will come to its senses and nominate an electable candidate that its true to the traditions of the democratic party and its principles. Howard dean and the rest of the leadership have sold out the party to the left and the communist.
Democratic Party Needs Intelligent Leadership
This primary has been a real eye opening experience. Dean along with the other so-called leaders appear to me to have an axe to grind with Hillary Clinton. She was obviously the best candidate and for spite or whatever reason, the "old boy network" decided that a black male is better than a white female. Not only is the media to blame and especially MSNBC for showing how stupid they are, but the other networks not being out there doing actual research and reporting on a candidate that is backed by leftist wackos; hate spewing so-called clergy who do not want equality but superiority and 10 pounds of flesh for stuff that they never were subjected to. the With all red flags popping up about this man, it is beyond belief that the people in this country would trust him with our lives...someone who is not even aware of the number of states in the US....who thinks it is okay to deal with terrorist leaders without any preconditions etc. Hillary was more in tune with what we need in this country than either McCain or Obama. I think Dean was a sorehead because he didn't get the backing for himself and this is paybacks. And for you fools who think that "oh, those women will come around for Obama after they cool off" you better wake up. I will write in for Hillary and I have already decided the Democratic Party is not my party - they cannot run a simple election and they ignore the will of the people. Michigan and Florida was the last straw and it was intentional. How pathetic and how stupid to do this to an intelligent, dedicated woman - a fighter who has the best interest of her country at heart.. All women should be proud to have a woman in the White House. The men who belittled her should be ashamed and if they have daughters, they should be doubly ashamed. It is a real eye opener to me that we are going backwards as far as gender in this country. Equality for women. Didn't we decide that issue already? Ladies, I am not going to be two steps behind any man - and if you don't think that you deserve respect, then what do you want for your daughters? Women who do not demand respect have no respect for themselves and that goes for all races of women. I have to ask, why wouldn't Nancy Pelosi be behind Hillary...she should have rallied behind her just as Geraldine Ferraro did. I am disgusted with the whole process.....
TO OBAMA SUPPORTERS
Oh yes...I am a Hillary supporter and I have gotten over it. McCain will surely get my vote in November. Obama wants change. Why doesn't he want to show muslim women with head gear in his audience? Is he afraid Americans will question him? He has asked them to retrieve to the back so they won't appear in the crowd when he gives his speeches. What a SHAME. Obama supporters... you can't win with college students and BLACK people.. you NEED Hillary's supporters. We can either make you or break you, and we intend to leave you in the ditch. Obama can't explain why he stayed in Rev Wright's church for 20 years. If I want a preacher I'll go to church on Sundays, not listen to Obama's speeches. Let's face it, he can read a script with Rev style, but can he stand up to any debate? Remember how Hillary took him to mop the floor in every debate they had? Imagine, this was a DNC debate, wait till he faces McCain. I hope that McCain drags him around the building, wipes the floor with him, and let the media nurse his ego. I thought about staying him for the general election, but when I heard obama count GA as one of his wins, I have decided to cast my vote to the more experiencd and humble candidate.
Thank you
Great column. As for the comments, Obama's not getting my vote. "We want to end the war!" he shouts to applause from crowds then goes on CNN June 5th and tells Crowley he'll decide what to do about Iraq if he gets elected -- maybe troops will stay, maybe they won't. The sexism was disgusting and the media needs to apologize for it. And we need to remember there's more than McCain and Obama running and that if Congress wanted to end the war, they could do so right now.
Sincerity
That's the one thing Clinton supporters want from the Obama-Zombies, and it is the one thing we will never get. To Obama's fans Sen. Clinton, the first person ever to try to formulate a universal health plan is a "Monster". How do we get past that. Michelle Obama has the evil eye and has repeatedly said she would have a hard time supporting Clintong. Obama is so arrogant and egotistical, guess what? Women have seen this stance in men before and recognize it. He eliminated all the candidates for his first political run on "technicalities" yet he is for change - no more politics as usual. Just what feminist turnip truck does this egomaniacal liar think we woman fell off of? The answer is we didn't fall we we're pushed. Doesn't seem to register with him. Four years of McCain might not be so bad if we could get an intelligent progressive in next time around.
Finally a colum that reflects how I feel!
I am so glad that someone has the guts to state what so many HRC supporters feel: TThat we're still mad as hell! Senator Clinton got a very very raw deal from the DNC and that this was a corrupt campaign by the Obama camp.
The Democrats are taking my vote for granted. Well...they shouldn't. I also don't want a McCain Presidency...so I "might "vote for Obama. But I definitely won't donate a penny to the Obama campaign or the Democratic leadership until Senator Clinton is treated correctly. Of course as badly as the DNC handled Michigan...how can we expect them to fairly turn around and be courteous to Senator Clinton??
