what

Cindy of VA.....why is he a brown shirt for saying our government should work for us and not Israel?

That country is lead by war mongering imperialists. There are a lot of jewish people who have this same opinion, do some research they agree!! Does that make them anti semetic self hating jewish people? Of course not. Thats such a weak minded knee jerk response to an actual issue.

please

The israeli government is committing genocide on people and we're supposed to be worried that Obama puppets friend old Ziggy boy is a danger to jews?

How about we be worried about Obama and his selection of Rahm "war criminal zionist" Emanuel and Obama's support of Israel which is committing murder by the thousands every day.

Dear Jaqson, The reason Egypt gets money is to bribe them into being co-operative (a cold peace) with Israel and as an encouragement to sign the peace treaty they signed under Carter's administration. The Saudi arms deals are about oil and making money for the military-industrial complex. Generally, the US has tried to get the Sunni regimes (Jordon, Saudi, Egypt) to quietly support Israel and has used arms sales as an encouragement. There is more of a difference of opinion about Israeli policy in Israel than in the US. It seems the Israelis have a vibrant discussion but we are afraid to say anything in the country of alleged freedoms because of the Dershowitzes (my law professor) who will call anyone who does not support Likud and "settlers" anit-semites.

Brzezinski should be applauded for having the courage to put into words what any thinking honest person who has witnessed what happens to anyone who criticizes Israel, has seen and felt for a long time. That to criticize Israel might mean that you will lose your job, your political career or your teaching post.

And there is a backlash starting to emerge. People don't like attempts at thought control on a mass scale and the systematic engineering of a society to make it taboo to criticize a group or state is exactly what is in place regarding jews and israel.

There is a reason why so many people view the actions of the state of Israel as belligerent and almost fascistic. They are not above criticism and it's mindsets like Bonnie Erbe's who attempt to perpetuate this thought control. We can think for ourselves Bonnie, nice try though...

Hello -Ii'm new to this site.

Hello brothers&sisters!

I'm new here. I've eventually found this wonderful site and made up my mind to sign up here!

I hope we'll communicate with each other nicely! So this is my first post!

Zbigniew Brzezinski

The Carter administraton refugee, Brzezinski, was the person whose assessment of Iran was to drop the Shah and welcome the Ayatollah Khomeini.

His assessment concluded that the Ayatollah would be friendly to America and be an adversary to Hafez Assad of Syria.

Well, as it turned out, Iran is about the most hosile nation to the US on the planet. The Ayatollah formed an alliance with Syria and embarked on a course of radicalizing the entire middle east muslim populations. Iran is the hand that controls the strings in Lebanon and Gaza and is now the number one threat to the Sunni nations of Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt...all of which now are considering their own nuclear programs to counter the Iranian threat.

Brzezinski's hand in changing US policy led to a profound deterioration of stability in the middle east and the advent modern Islamic radicalism, the fruits of which the entire world has felt ever since the Iranian islamic coup that Brzezinski not only failed to see coming, but actually encouraged.

If there is one man that the world can thank for the state of the middle east today...it is Zbigniew Brzezinski .

Ah... the feeling of POWER

As a Jew and owner of all mass media, I hereby order all you anti-semites to stop.

The bombings adn beheadings are doen by Arab terrorists or Muslim terrorists or Islamo fascist terrorists.......there is no Jerwish terrorist.

to rapa "too many holes"

actually i read ur comment twice .. but i found too many holes .. what the holocaust has to do with the palestinians that they have thier houses bulldozed , farms perished , olives tree uprooted? and their lack of essintial medicine and hospitals?

to be pro israel , it doesnt mean , and should not , be a likud supporter to expand and build settlements and expell the indegenious ppl , and hail that israel has the right to defend itself .. what that kinda defence for this war crime and attrocity should be granted by america?

it's true in my opinion , that the way to the white house passes through tel aviv , till the american put an end to that shame , cuz every candidate should appease the zionist/jewish lobbies like cheap strippers in order to gain votes and support at the expence of the plaestinian voicless ppl. ameica need to be changed , and obama vowed to acheieve the change , does he have guts to break those influences of lobbies that harm america reputaion and create more enemies for the sake of another country which is ISRAEL?! time will tell

Jewish Voters

I never believe the Jewish population would whole-heartedly go for Obama especially when you examine 2 scenarios i.e.

a) Obama believes in what he is so confident of ' meet and discuss with the Hama, Hezbollah, Syria, Iran, North Korea.....' so as to stiike a deal with them, we do not need to worry at all about nuclear proliferation, terrorism, Iraq insurgency....Under Obama's logic, we are living in a rose garden and NOT a tumultuous world that we need experience, wits, courage to resolve and not by demagogy. Empty promises our classroom modeling would not solve real time problems and I am sure Israel and Jewish population would go for McCain if you are taking about the appeal to Jews in General Election.

b) Jews have experienced the Holocaust and they know very well who they should trust and go after. Jews would trust not trust Muslim people, anything Islamic, nor do they trust the African people, no matter they are born and have grown up either in Africa, or the U.S. Besides, Obama is too close to Kenya, his native place and his association with the reverend Wright for more than 20 years and Obama treats Wright as his mentor until he cut their relationship for the sake of the Democratic presidential nomination race.

To understand what is at stake for the Jewish population, we need NOT promises from a rookie who could promise anything so as to get your votes but someone who has weathered storms before particularly of war sufferings and that is the advantage of McCain or even Hillary Clinton. Therefore, Obama can never win the real hearts and soul of the Jewish population in America nor Israel which is embroiled in daily attacks from the North (Gaza) nor within Israel ( Jerusalem, West Bank...) As such, no matter you have Zbig as your foreign policy adviser, you are still doomed to be fighting a losing battle in winning the hearts of the Jewish population. It is the reality or political reality that no body could easily resolve unless perhaps you have another Democratic presidential candidate like Hillary Clinton.

Ah... the feeling of POWER

Since I am a Jew, I guess I have a disproportionate amount of influence over US politics.

Can one of you please assist me in wielding this awesome power?

If we Jews really had power, we'd legalize cannabis!
